I own a Mio C520 -- purchased in the U.S. It came preloaded with North American maps. About a year ago, I was to move to Europe for an extended period of time and decided that I should get European maps on it.
Being a daft dodo, I downloaded MioMap Europe from some torrent site and followed the instructions there and copied the european maps into the maps folder. Since then the device has not worked. (The ONLY thing I had changed was removing all the U.S. maps from the Maps folder and copying in European maps instead)
Now I would like to switch back to the U.S. version, but: 1) I do not have my original product CD/DVD 2) I can't find the disk on which I had saved the U.S. maps
As you can tell I need help bad! Is there some way I can restore my product back to its original form?
you could use your experience with torrent to restore once owned US maps. If your MioMap 3.3 will refuse to work with those, you can obtain replacement program files here: http://rapidshare.com/files/165208598/mm10JAN08.rar
