| 785T is discontinued, comes with MSN Direct traffic receiver. MSN Direct will be discontinued in Jan. 2012. 765T is the same unit but comes with FM traffic receiver and Navteq free lifetime subscription (ad supported). |

| Ok so you would suggest the 765T over the 785T . I C that you have a 755T how do you like it. |

| I have had the 755T for over a year and like it very well. I use it for both long and short trips. I use most of the features it has except the FM transmitter. The Navteq traffic is only somewhat useful for me, but all the other features work well and the 755T has been very reliable. I recently purchased the 855 as a second unit to get the voice recognition capability. |

Really the only difference between the 785 and the 755 besides the MSN traffic receiver on the 785 is that the 755 doesn't have bluetooth support. |

You never know when BT will come in very handy. I barely used it until I got my motorcycle, for example.

I think i would find Bluetooth handy and i would like to get traffic alerts also. Its so hard to decide :) Anyone know why there are so many 785T refurbs on Ebay? Does the 785T have Lifetime traffic? some vendors say it does and others make no mention.

The 785T comes with a MSN Direct Traffic Receiver. Can't recall if you get 'lifetime traffic' with it or not but in any event the MSN Direct Traffic service has been discontinued and will go away forever in 2012, so lifetime or not, it isn't going to be a long period of time.
The 765T is exactly the same as the 785T only it comes with a FM traffic receiver with is 'lifetime'. |
