I bought a brand new nuvi350 GPS in April 2007 and it had been working fine until a few weeks ago. Now it sometimes won’t get satellite signal for 10-15 minutes after start-up when the car is moving. It eventually did get signal. This does not happen all the times. I notice this usually happens after I have not used the GPS for a few days. However, this never happened before. My software version is 5.2.
I don’t know if this problem can be fixed by software update or some other simple fix, or the GPS is in its last leg of life and should be replaced.
Your suggestion or input would be greatly appreciated!
Probably not a software issue. As you will see it's probably more hardware related.
