A coule weeks ago, I downloaded the newest software for my 1390T. Now, my unit reboots ever so ofte. This happened once this week while driving and three times last week.
Then, my unit suddenly freezes up while on a trip. This can last up to 45 secs before unfreezing.
I've done a hard reset, twice.
I've taken my custom POI's off the unit and utilized only from my 4gb SD card.
I've reformatted my SD card
Still happening. Anyone else have this problem? Could it be the latest Firmware update?
Currently running 3.30 firmware. How can I go back to the older version to see if this is the problem? Where would I find that firmware?
Help

Available firmware for the 13xx/14xx series:

http://www.garmin.com/software/nuvi13xxand14xxseries_regionfileonly__270.gcd
http://www.garmin.com/software/nuvi13xxand14xxseries_regionfileonly__300.gcd
http://www.garmin.com/software/nuvi13xxand14xxseries_regionfileonly__320.gcd

Garmin 13xx/14xx series changelog page:
http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=4551

To install, drag the downloaded file from above onto the WebUpdater icon on your PC. The firmware will be backdated upon the next unit power-cycle (a warning message will be given). Back up your favorites before the backdate. Always be sure to hard-reset the unit after a firmware update and especially so after a backdate.

Favorites backup is covered in the hard reset procedure here:

I don't understand it. I dragged the 3.20 software from your link, into my Webudater icon. It ran and just reloaded 3.30. Is there another way to downgrade to 3.20 firmware?

You might want to delete the existing GUPDATE.GCD (actual firmware update file) on the nuvi in the x:\Garmin folder. Maybe the existing file is not being overwritten with the new (old version) file since it's older than what's currently on the unit. Normally, if you try to install an older firmware version, the update process (after the nuvi is power-cycled and recognizes a different firmware version is on the unit waiting to be installed) will warn you that what you're installing is older and if you're sure you want to install it. If GUPDATE.GCD is the same version as what's currently flashed to the unit, nothing happens.

If the file delete/overwrite does not work, it could be that Garmin is maybe blocking firmware backdates on the new units...but then again, that doesn't seem to be the case as I recall others reporting successful backdates on the 1xxx series units.

I am unable to find the Gupdate.gcd file. My system is set to read all files. Where is this file? Someone help. I'm just trying to rollback my firmware.
