I suspect it's to allow "refresh" / "bug fix" updates and not muck things up.
I.E.
2010.20 = First Customer Ship
2010.21 = Bug Fix release on the above
etc.

| No, the .21 is theoretical. Last time the released a bug fix, it was 2010.10B and 2010.10C. |

| Your download will be enabled for 15 days. As long as the bug fixes are released in that 15 day time frame, you will get them. |

| I updated to CN NA 2010.20 last night on my 755T. Drove in to work this morning, and didn't notice anything new or strange. I'll see if it routes me home differently this afternoon. |

| As I recalled ver. 2010.10 had a problem with the JCV file (only lane assist and no JCV). Does ver. 2010.20 fix the JCV problem? |

The first release of 2010.10 (no A or B) had the JCV issue. The latter 2010.10B and 2010.10C corrected the JCV issue.
I see no problem with this newest 2010.20 initial release. This seems like the first downloadable map update that does not (so far) have any issues. Looks like Garmin has gotten their act together. I, for one am very happy not to have to be testing/re-downloading/re-testing it. |
