Hello!
I have problems with the Mio Moov 200, N177, 1Gb memory .
Original message on the screen : Application AppStartupSec.exe has performed an illegal... and no usb connection.
My fw is Cobia300.v1.00.0030 but firmware from gpspassion forum first post not working, only few spots on the screen.With v1.00.0019 same error and still no usb connection.
The label on flash :COBIA_300_WWE_R00_1G_5C9D

Sorin,
try to upgrade (with Format) ... this way your My Flash disk will be deleted and (if you have an error on My Flash Disk ...) will be deleted also.
WARNING: You will lose all your data (including navigation software and maps) If you don't have the original CD to recover the GPS ... maybe you shouldn't use the Format option. |

Ok, thank you, first time i don't use this option ,but already format flash ,and with version 0019 is almost ok, I have usb comunication ,but with non original appstartupsec still not launch miomap.I give up... I need the right firmware wich is 0030.

Finally I found the combination of appstartupsec and MioMap, but if I start the device with the card in, it enter directly in the blue screen " boot". How can ai solve this? I must lock the boot?
Still waiting for 0030 version, with your kindness.
In the previous post you got a file with dedication Cobia 300_64, mine is Cobia 300_32.

without format.
And the mio finished all corect, after restart the same problem.
If i make the update with format it said no enough memory.
Can anyone help me?

You must go in "other tools" menu and make format there . You will lose all your data (including navigation software and maps).
Please...can you tell me what files you have on SDcard and how did you get " blue sceen"? I have a Moov 330, N179 and can't access the upgrade menu. I had the same problem with the Moov 200, N177 and I resolved to g_alin indication of the format option , but now I can not block the boot procedure, even if I run manually UPGRADE_APP_.exe and I received confirmation "locked"

I'm glad to hear that, but my Moov 330 does not want to go into blue screen. I tried to pin 9 to GND, but in this case, the device does not start at all. Otherwise, only the orange screen with MIO logo.
The other boot locking problem, with Moov 200 ,remained unresolved, simply inserting a blank SD-Micro SD adapter goes in the boot device.
Please give me some advice!

Have you checked your nand's data sheet? -CE(Chip Enable) may not necessarily be located on pin9...
Insert any SD before pin9 (or wherever is -CE) trick. |

"Start manually the application \SDCard\UPGRADE\wo_coredll\UPGRADE_APP_.exe and you will be asked about USERMODE or SUPERMODE." Choose SUPERMODE for moov and USERMODE for C series.

It work with "Choose SUPERMODE for moov "...with w_coredll
I was thinking that boot-blocking is done by option "usermode". The mistake it was here.
Otherwise, with usermode option , the message appears "lock success".
Finaly MOOV 200 N177 1Gb memory, work well with 0019 firmware instead 0030. |
