@ventzel & all who are interested. After I got an original Moov330 bootblock dump(1G K9G8G08), it turned out that the display cable was not properly attached. The final conclusion: despite the fact that are many differences between Moov300 - Moov330 boot blocks, Moov300, Moov310 and Moov330 are compatible also in the case of 2K/page nands.
LE: bootblocks from Navman S55 are working too on Moov330! |

Hi all! I have a mio moov 500. I installed miopocket and used it for almost six months. A few days ago after a restart the display remained black with the message: T510R2.V1.00.0004 I've tried for couple of days to restart it but the result is the same. If anybody can help me with some advice i will be gratefull. I have an image made with miodesktop but i can't reinstall it because i have no connection with PC. Also i copied <My flash disk> and i have it on my PC. I read all posts and i didn'd get a result from doing all i found about my type of GPS. Thanx to all who will try to find a solution for this problem. Maybe it will help others with same kind of problem. |

Moov 200, I don't know how to help you ... maybe srelioskoz can ask you to do some other tests ...
brow, http://www.4shared.com/file/7fLliJcR/IBootformatans405_WEU.html I don't recommend you to this way of upgrading ... but is your choice. (if your upgrade will fail you are not going to be able to access your device ... only JTAG will save you from that ...)

Hello,
I've got a Mio Moov 580 that was stuck on the orange screen. No way to connect usb... So I did the pin9 method and was then able to repair it (flash+reinstall with miomore desktop).
Now, the problem is that when I boot with ANY SD card inside, it starts with the blue screen... I don't know how to desactivate it.
I've followed the steps described here : http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=136507 But it doesn't work. I'm not asked to choose between USERMODE or SUPERMODE. It's still the same blue screen...
Any help would be appreciated :)
Thanks! |

"But it doesn't work. I'm not asked to choose between USERMODE or SUPERMODE. It's still the same blue screen..." Start manually the application \SDCard\UPGRADE\wo_coredll\UPGRADE_APP_.exe and you will be asked about USERMODE or SUPERMODE. |

Please help! I have a Moov 200 FEU. Usb doesn't work, because my friend delete some system files. WinCE Upgrade menu it's ok, but it says 'Unknown image type'. What's wrong? I don't know. It's Cobia300_R07_0201 RAM64 MLC 2G top of upgrade menu. I tried Moov_200_Cobia_300_32_EEU_V1.00.0018 bin file.

powerslide, Probably you have the 'second' generation (ake. 'V2') ... try to download the SMFlash from an identical device, and tell me the structure of the BLUE SCREEN menu ... (first page should be enough ...) Ex.: 1 ...... 2 ...... .......

Anybody please could help me how to get mio n179 (moov 360) to upgrade screen? I tried pin 9 method, but its not working, device will not power up at all when pin 9 is connected. Without, it poowers up OK, but as a fool that i am i tried deleted some important files by accident, so now it will nto work, or be recognized by PC on USB. Please, point me to the right direction, how to get USB connection up and running again. i have the backup of the internal filesystem BTW.

powerslide, You have the 'old style' ... probably your firmware addresses are different ... I need a SMFlash from an identical device (to continue the investigation ...)
lc5829, Follow the procedure (as described by srelioskoz) ... some users reported a success using this methode ... I don't know what are you doing wrong. |
