Technically no problem, just have to know CPU and nand type. At least for more frequent nands I allways am including a dump (copy) option too. Also HJTAG can be an option but the regular "drivers" are not creating ECC and sometimes they cannot write to nand (when nand's WP/write protect/ is connected to some obscure and undocumented CPU pin).
The essential difference between sjf and hjtag+hflasher is the manner they handle nand: sjf is a "clean" jtag programmer (uses exclusively the scan chain) while hjtag+hflasher is a kind of "server" which is communicating with a driver, placed in the steppingstone RAM, through p14 (co-processor & debug) register; it uses scan chain just to copy the driver in ram, after that cpu is running normally...

Hi, g_alin

Thank you very much for your time. I made the update for firmware and the name of the firmware is a correct one (old R12.....) but I have the same issue, "the tapping" on the screan is in offset just on the orizontal (-----------) it is like from resolution of 472 I have less, 450 (no ideea how can be messure this)or something like this. Copying an region.bin from the new firmware will help? or what else can be done?

continued :
ok, I take the region.bin and region.csk from the new firmware MoovS568_EU_ROM_SEEKER.R20.00.0844.STF128M and the winceimg.bin from the old firmware. putted on the device. the same.. offset wen I touch the screen.

contined 2 : sorry, the offset is also on vertical (I was playing with word for PDA) and I saw that on vertical it is the same (new region.bin and region.csk with winceimg.bin from the old firmware. putted on the device)

Now i have a device like HDD with 2 files inside :
device.sig and device.xml

mio more desktop software cannot detect the device, why?

white_flag,
(I assume you have the device unlocked ...)
Go to:
1. Start \ Control Panel \ Stylus (double click)
2. press on Calibration tab
3. press on Recalibration button
(use a stylus to calibrate the screen ... don't use sharp objects ...)

If after that it works ok ... let me know ... we'll see from there.

Stopper,
Maybe you have a software problem (with MioMore) ... If you see it as a HDD I see no reason for MioMore to communicate with the GPS

white_flag,
Wait a minute ... we didn't finish ...
using TRE save HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH\CalibrationData settings to a *.reg file.
After that you can 're-calibrate' your device by updating the setting HKLM\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH\CalibrationData (while you unlock your device ...)
Let me know if you need more details ...

white_flag,
The file sent by you (saved with TRE):

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH]
"CalibrationData"="1012,532 491,740 493,344 1530,340 1530,736 "
"DriverName"="s3c2450_restouch.dll"
"MaxCalError"=dword:00000007

The registry from ROM:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\TOUCH]
"CalibrationData"="1000,545 480,685 480,405 1520,405 1520,685"
"MaxCalError"=dword:00000007
"DriverName"="touch.dll"

I checked on the ROM file system and there is no "touch.dll" ... there is only "s3c2450_restouch.dll" .. probably there is an error on the original registry ... and the default windows settings are loaded ...

Here is the firmware with the new calibration data http://www.4shared.com/file/WB3tKcLI/white_flag.html
The ROM was changed manually ... there is a high chance to have errors ...
