hello everybody,
i have a problem with a mio moov M400 avec a chip TATA 400A.
The problem is : no usb connection.
I've tested the method " pin 9 connected with the ground " : it's ok
I've got a menu : TATA400STF64_R02_0518 MCL 2G
i go to Base CE UPGRADE => Base by USB and i connect my gps to my pc, but dnw.exe don't work and i've not the good driver.
Could someone help me please ?

Hy guys can you help me with a major problem ?
I have a Mio Moov Spirit V505 and i tryed to unlock it and after that it got stuck at the orange screen so i tryed to make it work with a program iboot but after i restarted the gps it wont start again.I turn the power on but nothing.Can you help me ?
Btw ablbd are you from Ro becouse i'm too. |

2)How to repair your mio if no connection with pc
(Or search the page for pin 9)

Thanks for the tip I've looked at it many times
In the YouTube video a tool that looks like a pen then there is a wire coming out of the back then a crocodile clip what is this tool called as i want to buy one for this procedure this help?

My chip is not a cobia but a tata 400 and i have'nt a sd card reader on my gps.

The tool is nothing special it is probably a probe from a multimeter with a crockdile clip on one end.
Just use any suitable piece of wire to make the connections.

Only Blue Screen

Jobez: DNW.EXE is quite difficult to get working first time. If you just install it with windows it will start up but you will not get the OK message next to the USB word when you connect your GPS. This is because the correct drivers need to be added to your system (not the default windows ones)
If the above is your problem then you should hear your device connect when you plug it into windows. At this point find the device listed in windows control panel (system/devices in xp). You should see windows CE usb device listed (unplug/plug back in to see its your gps). You now need to go to the properties for the device and go to the driver tab, then update driver. you need to update the driver manually and force windows to accept the new driver. When you downloaded DNW.exe the drivers normally are with them. The driver will be secusb or something similar. Normally its a PC restart to make the driver work.

| Urgently need file k.toolhelp.dll (7.168 Bytes) as it comes with Windows Embedded CE 6.0. Can't extract it myself from my device's ROM because tool ROMExtracter doesn't work under CE 6.0. Thanks for helping. |

Don't be (too) dissapointed if it doesn't work because this is the kernel part of toolhelp.dll. Due to wince6 security, such dll's have to be included in rom as modules and loaded from rom in kernel space with kernel privileges. This will never happen by simply loading it in RAM, so most probably whatever you want to do will crash. |
