Hello and happy New Year!
I'd like to unlock BM-6420 that I have got it since February 2008. I've tried procedure similar to Medion and it doesn't work in this case. I'd like to set up my PNA to work with other navigation software and programs. I've bought 2GB mini SD card and would like to install other software by myself. Navigate 7 software and Route 66 is not fine for me in Croatia. I was thinking about installing iGO 08 or similar navigation software. Thanks in advance for help and advices.

1. Backup your device and storage card data.
2. Format the SD Card.
3. Extract the RAR file to SD Card root folder.
4. Copy iGO8 to SD card iGO8 folder (with iGO8.exe)
5. Insert Card in your device and hard-reset switch (off-on).
6. If the instalation completed press the soft-reset button.

Code:

Soft-reset would be standby button on the left side of the PNA or small hole (reset) on the right side of the PNA where you put pin of the Stylus in order to reset the device?
Hard reset is on-off switcher on the back of the navigation, is it correct?
Many thanks,
Aleksandar

I've succeeded to unlock PNA with that Medion file from rapidshare. Hard reset is on-off switch and soft one is small reset hole on the right side of device. After soft reset I was able to see MEDION Navigator desktop with 4 icons: MP3, Navigation, Calculator and Languages. Everything works fine (seems to me - have to learn how to upload MP3 to SD card; in which directory) except igo8. When tap igo8 icon there is following info in German:

"igo8" (oder eine der zugehörigen Komponenten) wurde nicht gefunden. Stellen Sie sicher, das Pfad und Dateiname korrekt sind und dass alle erforderlichen Bibliotheken verfügbar sind.

Thanks to Google translator and my High School education 17 years ago :-) there is translation in English:

"igo8" (or one of its components) was not found. Make sure the path and file name are correct and that all required libraries are available.

Is it something with paths and important files on my SD card? With Active Sync I wasn't able to extract RAR file to SD card (instead of that I have had extracted them first to new folder on desktop and than all 5 files (igo8 folder, AUTORUN, autorunce, Medion, and MNAVDCE - zip file) copied to SD card in PNA.
That PNA150.rar file was 2MB before extraction process (when downloaded) and I guess that this is good basic for beginning. Maybe it has igo8 (at least basic of program) so I need to do find how and where to put rest of the igo8 (???) and maps for Croatia, Serbia and Bosnia as well as rest of Europe on my 2GB SD card.
Thanks in advance for useful tips and instructions.
Regards from Croatia,
Aleksandar

Hello everybody,
I have the same problem with BM-6420: I don't know witch version of IGO8 should I put on my card (2G) in order to work. I did unlock my PNA but Igo8 doesn't start, no matter what version I put on the card.
I have no doubt that you know more.
Thank's !
