Have you tried just pulling the battery? Can you call it?

after 7 days, my tk102 doesn't work anymore. I have tried to make upgrade but not risco. You can send me the link for a new software

Connection is failure. You can try:
1.Give your MCU Power On Reset.
2.Stop operation, then re-select COM Port.
3.Because PLCC-DIP/PQFP-DIP Socket trace too long.
4.Update the STC ISP.exe version.
5.If still error, your MCU Firmware is error
or null.

Hello everybody
I'm new in this forum and my English are not good but i'll try to explain my problem so you may help me.
First congradulations for the forum. ( is the only forum for these products )
I have 3 of these trackers that working OK exchept the auto track mode.
I have test them on the SMS mode because here in Greece the GPRS is very expensive.
Actualy when i send SMS t030s005n123456 the devices don't respond at all. I try other combinations and intervals like: t005m010n123456 or t120s005n123456 but no luck.
I try to contact the seller but he can't help me.
Does anybody had the same problem and can help me ?
Does anyone know anything about the data cable and software to update maby the devices ?
Is possible to change the SMS message of the device ?

Thank you for your fast response.
Unfortunatlly i'm from Greece but if you can help i'll try to email you with more details on my prblem.
I just download the firmware from the location you mention.
Do you know about the cable ( is this a special cable ? ) Is there a schematic so i can use to make it ?
And what is the exact proccess to do the firmware update ?

| You must connect the cable after pressing upload. what cable are you using? Is it set to the right com port??? |

What happens when you sms imei123456
Does it return a number ?
If not make sure your SIM card in the device does not have a pin number to turn it on. Make sure you have initialised the tracker with begin123456 and make sure the mobile number you are sending the SMS from is authorisied admin123456 mobile number note that there is a space between the password and the mobile number. |

Hello again everybody.
After a lot of testing i can say for sure that this device is not a tracker.
It is a toy to play with and not to trust it for something serius.
1. begin123456 ( hopefully working )
2. change password not working
3. add master ( 10 calls ) working
4. authorize other numbers working
5. deleting other numbers working
6. tsn (t030s005n) sometimes working sometimes not. other combinations, intervals not work.
7. monitor/track mode working but when you go to monitor mode must reset to return to track mode
8. geofence not working
9. movement working after about 500 meters
10.over speed working but wrong speed
11.change time working
12.GPRS don't check ( i don't need it )maby i check when i have time
13.smsone not working
14.smslink not working
15.hidenumber not working
16.fortify not working
17.low battery working
18.help working
When you change battery the device startup automaticaly but you must turn it off and reopen in order to work properly.
many times the device drop in something like loop and don't answer the calls. need restart.
at the end i have a question.
is this mini usb slot at the side real usb or it is rs232 in mini usb form and for this reason need the special prolific cable ( this is usb to rs232 )?

| Can someone help me? I have just bought the TK02 but need to know how to convert the coordinates i receive, when i have tested my tracker the coordinates i get are telling me that i am in the north sea! I live in the U.K. I use google earth, thankyou for any help you can give. Is it something to do with dividng by 60? |
