Thank you Cyril,
Are the $parts[12] and $parts[13] in the array always empty? Before I set my 102 to GPRS mode the SMS'ses back did also have the battery status in it (F) Is this not beening send when in "GPRS" mode? |

I've made a small change to your script to also log 12 and 13 to the MySQL (just in case) I also added a "debug" field with the $rec values in it.
Keep up the good work! |

If a device is a copied TK102 (with wxlxy link in geoinfo SMS messages) and the GPRS communication doesn’t work, then that will never work.
Ionic, thats not true. I have received a cloned tk-102 with this wxlxy firmware and reflashed with my original tk-102 firmware and it's working as intended now. Everything works, including GPRS. If you want the firmware, i can send to you, just leave me a message.
Regards.
can you please send me firmware |

patroldriver1,
If you do not like spam it's better to NEVER post you email address like you did on a forum or website. Spam bods WILL find your email address and use/abuse it. If you do like spam, than please ignore this message.
re: If you want the firmware, i can send to you, just leave me a message. I've asked for this also, but did never receive the firmware from him. Personally I do not think that it's possible to use the official firmware in a cloned 102. |

Hello guys,
Nobody should be surprised, but I am also having problems with this little black box. Would've guessed? :)
The biggest problem of all is that it is refusing to initialize. It always replies "Begin fail!" to begin123456. I am watching it communicate in AccessPort, and it seems to receive the SMS correctly.
+CMGR: "REC UNREAD","+36205152987",,"09/09/17,21:12:00+08" begin123456
OK AT+CMGD=1
OK AT+CMGS="+36205152987"
> Begin fail! +CMGS: 18
OK AT+CMGF=1
OK AT+CSCLK=1
OK
Yes, I tried to re-flash. First I tried to do it according to the manual. (Yes, that strange little booklet that was translated from Chinese to Arabic by a Malaysian robot and then to English by a Russian homeless who was brought up by Nigerian immigrants.) Using STC-ISP.exe it either displays gibberish like:
Chinese:????? MCU/??? ???? ... ??????! Chinese:??????????????????
or a bigger collection of question marks with some English error message, translated from Chinese by the aformentioned language expert.
However, AccessPort seems to comply to the "Upload file" command, and apparently uploads the specified .hex file, the one just posted by kensm.
Ah, not to forget, I was originally supposed to upload a file called gpr_car.hex, which was naturally nowhere on the CD or in this universe.
So, please. Can anyone tell what the heck am I supposed to do with this thing? It's too expensive for a keychain and too small for a door block.

I had also this problem ones.. The reason was that tester person in a factory, had forgotten to restore the Tracker after his quality testing and there was still his master password.. So, in case of that, you can restore the Tracker for its initial state with command format. Just word format, no passwords after that. So this is very scary command because it doesn't need password, so be careful when you publish your tracker's phone number :) |

I sent "format" and there was no reply. AccessPort wrote:
+CMGR: "REC UNREAD","+36205152987",,"09/09/18,02:22:26+08" format
OK
+CMTI: "SM",2 AT+CMGR=2
Then I sent begin123456 and the result was the same: Begin fail! This is quite frustrating.
continued : By the way, don't any of you happen to have gpr_car.hex? |

sucomth,
I know that reading 72 pages is hard, but kensm posted a download link on this page! It's 5 posts above your post. |
