Hi Dymo, GPSTrackeri and Jajoman,

As I read the full topic, I've already tried exactly those steps in exactly those order you wrote.
Many times! With different IPs and ports!!

The IPs and ports were absolutely accessible, eg. with telnet.

And I've tried it with SIMs from two different mobile service provider (Pannon and T-Mobile).

APNs were OK because with these SIMs I can browse the internet from my PDA.

And the tracker after the t030s***n123456 command starts to send me SMS messages to the phone number the commands were sent from, and nothing to the server.

Like the adminip and apn commands were not sent. But the device always replies OK after adminip and apn commands.

The tracker fixed satelites because the coordinates in the SMS geoinfo is absolutely accurate and correct.

I don't understand. Maybe this device is not a copy, maybe it is absolutely FAKE, without GPRS function. The device is from ChinaDigiTown and was 80 USD + 34USD for shipping (alibaba.com).
The device turns automaticaly after inserting the battery, and it sends wxlxy.com link at the end of SMS messages.

Hi Ionic,
I saw by google that the APN of Pannon in Hungary is "net". Right? I couldn't find the APN for T-Mobile in Hungary :(.
Did you sent before "apn123456 net" a "noapn123456"? And the same before "adminip123456 77.74.50.78 20157" a "noadminip123456"?

Okay.
I've done the "notn123456", and "t030s030n123456".
Should the 102 give a SMS reply back after this command?

Anyway.. Lets wait and see if I get any data back.

Yes, I've tried.
I am wondering how many SMS will be billed next month..... ;-(

And you are right, the APN of Pannon is 'net'.
Otherwise the APN of T-Mobile here in Hungary is 'internet'.
But none of them works with my device.

Wifi, it's a good questions.
Some guy here gets an OK confirmation message after t030s....., but eg. my device just start to sending SMSs without any confirmation after t030s.....

They are two SMS commands ;)

I'm not sure, but I think (to remember) that after "t030s030n123456" and "notn123456" no! I must look at my PDA. It is not by me now.

dymo.
Thats what I meant.
sms: notn123456
and
sms: t030s030n123456

again.. After the t030s030n123456 I did not get a reply.

Anyway. it's been on for about an hour now, but till now no data in.
I guess that my 102 is like ionic's a dud (no GPRS in it).

I'm done with the 102 that I have here. I will reset the 102, and use it as SMS backup unit.
To bad.. I will now need to find and buy a truly working 102 :-(

Thank you for your help dymo.
Anyone here with a link to a shop that DO sell the true 102's?
I'm in Europe.. So the shop needs to be able to ship to this.

I will soon publish code and procedure to do it.

Pls have a look in your manual.
I get no "OK" message, but thats ok, because in my manual (TK102) there is nothing mentioned, that there should be a "OK" message:
"5.8.2 Send SMS t005s***n+password to the unit, it will reply heaps of times"

If you don't get any SMS answer from the Tracker, have you done an Authorization? That might be one reason..
Send SMS:
admin123456 +9991122334455
where +9991122334455 is your phone number including country code.

ionic:
Have you tested GPRS sending with slower speed like t001m***n123456.
That was my reason with new TK201-V3.. It has limited speed to save battery life..

GPSTrackeri,

Thank you for your input.
I do get SMS'ses from the 102, so this is working fine.
It's the GPRS part that I'm having problems with.

Hi all!
I have been trying absolutely everything! I am from Slovakia and unfortunately has this copy device too:( I have tried ALL provides here (O2, Tmobile, Orange) and spent more than 100 Eur just for sms :( I am exactly in the same situation as Ionic except that my device seems to send gprs data after tsn command. Problem is that no server can catch those data :( Also ... O2 and Tmobile sim cards cause Tracker to send "invalid" sms. Only Orange sim works ok.

Yes, I've tried with t250s.... but nothing, it sends SMS messages only. So I will throw this f**king device out. Or Is somebody interested in this SMS-only device on sale? ;-)

Guys, with the original devices!
Do all original trackers (with new firmware) keep the settings after a battery run-down and start to send data again after recharging? Or is it dependent on the time between the run-down and recharging?

I think I will order from Xexun directly.

Do all original trackers (with new firmware) keep the settings after a battery run-down and start to send data again after replacing the battery or starting to charge? Or is it dependent on the time between the run-down and recharging? Does anybody know the answer?
