Hi all
I recently bought a tracker. Couldnt get the live tracker sw GPSTracker.exe working. After a good deal of searching and reading this forum, it turns out to be the "wxlxy version" :-((
Has anyone succeeded in flashing the Xexun firmware?
@dymo: Did you get this version to work with GPS-trace Orange?

After some tries and desire for the acceptance of the data sequence of this tracker by GPS-trace orange, YES. Shal has maked it possible.

Yes the date and the time are correctly. I am using the time zone 2 for Germany . The only faulty thing is the speed in gprs live tracking mode. The speed is on gps-trace-orane too low. It shows ca. 30km/h, when the actually speed is ca. 55kmh. |

| I think it has not any unique name. It is a USB to 3.3v serial com port converter cable with two 8pin micro-USB-Plugs. It is from Xexun factory for the firmware updating and debuging of the tk102 tracker. In search of it you have to focus on the same look. |

Not sure if anyone here has ever seen this problem. When I call my tk102 with my XDA2s I do receive a SMS back, but it's always saying "The contents of this message cannot be displayed". I have tested this with a lot of phones (old and new), and I have only 2 phones that do show the SMS message correct. (a Sony Ericsson and a BlackBerry). Anyone here who might know what could cause this "bad" message? |

Hi All,
I’ve just read the FULL topic (it took me 6 hours), and I’m not sure I am right if I summarize the situation with this statement:
If a device is a copied TK102 (with wxlxy link in geoinfo SMS messages) and the GPRS communication doesn’t work, then that will never work.
Unfortunately I’ve a copied device, and I tried it with 2 carrier’s SIM and configuration here in Hungary. In both case I receive OK reply to all my SMS commands (begin, apn, adminip, up) from the device, but when I finally send a t030s***n123456 command the device starts to send geoinfo periodically !!!___ IN SMS messages___!!! to the phone number from the commands was sent (this number is not authorized) and doesn’t send TCP packages to the configured server and port. (I tried common ports and special ones too, and more computers with different ISPs. The ports with telnet were always accessible.)
Dymo, some weeks ago you mentioned that you made a successful GPRS tracking with a copied device (a track with bicycle ;-), don’t you? Was the GPRS communication working "by default" or you had to do some trick?
Thanks for all reply in advance.
