Hello kensm,
I’m still testing your Software with my tracker. Once in a while I have succeeded in sending only “begin123456” with some error message pop-ups and ignores for my part. So I think that the error message has not dealing with the still being used com port.
The replay SM of “begin123456” went to the dummy number “0012345678901” with 19 cents/SMS without any money saving. ;) So I have patched your software with a hex editor and I have changed this number with my PDA phone number (9 cents/SMS). Sorry just I must go … write to you later.

Thank you for your reply, In the instruction manual there is no mention of the working parameters for the voltage, just states 5 volt. I guess at more than 10% above this, it could well be the case.
It definetly shuts down when power is connected, if it operates just on the small battery it can be left over night and operates without any problems next day
Reducing the voltage I will try, how do I specify which diode to order. Are they all the same, do they have a specific value?

| GOOD DAY , PLEASE HELP MY!!My problem is, that the tracker gives an alarm in move modus, when the tracker has moved about 4 km, not earlier! This is to late! And in geo-fence 77x111m the tracker provide an alarm, if the tracker is inside the geo-fence. This is an mistake! |

Hi Martin,
You need a diode with a current-carrying capacity at least 500 mA. Take one diode of the serie 1N4004 ... 1N4007 (1A/1000V). It is very cheep and you can buy it almost everywhere. |

Hi Khausp,
after the switching-on I need to wait abaout 1-2 minutes until my tracker (wxlxy.com version) goes in the sleep mode. In this state the green LED doesn't blinging until it receives a call or a SMS. |

Hi Dymo, I have fitted the diode as suggested and this has reduced the voltage to 4.8 when on load. This appears to have resolved the problem and the tracker now works correctly. Many thanks for your help, it is very much appreciated,

Victor, your problem is the old version one or copy one.
If is original one u can try upgrade the firmware, if copy one, nothing u can do.

Is there anybody there have any luck to upgrade software to a tracker with wxlxy.com software, so you can use live tracking?
or is there something else you can do so the live tracking will work.
what firmware is best to upgrade to my wxlxy tracker ? |

Using tk201-2, and using gpsgate which is working, but altitude and speed doesnt show. What software do you use? Self made with google maps or a product on the market?

i use the newsofware, because my tracker start when i put the batteri into it.
But i cant use live tracking because of the wxlxy modifeied software |

[b] If you know the sequence of your wxlxy.com transmitting data per GPRS, then you CAN use live tracking. I will show you how it works later in the evening if I am at home.

It is generated during a 45km bicycle tour in Berlin.
Tracker: tk102 wxlxy.com version (GPRS mode)
