Hi all, I've been out of the loop for a couple of months due to family.
Anyway there were people asking about firmware source code because they wanted to work on the functions available. I'm not sure if this is true or not, but I just received a message: (excerpts below) ------------------------------------- We are the software and firwmare provider for xexun in 2006,we help them to make the first TK102,TK201,and TK102-2 in 2009,we sell better prices then theirs since we don't use many fees for fair and B2B. TK102,you can buy the clone if you think it is ok. For TK102-2 with SD card slot.Quad bands 1-5pcs: 78USD 6-50pcs: 75USD 51-100pcs: 72USD 101-300pcs:69USD For TK201: 1-5pcs: 69USD 6-50pcs: 66USD 51-100pcs: 65USD 101-300pcs:63USD(your own logo free) For TK103-2 with SD card slot, dual simcard slots,Quad bands 1-5pcs: 82USD 6-50pcs: 79USD 51-100pcs: 75USD 101-300pcs:72USD Please feel free to give us your feedback and we sell the below tracking software only 1000USD,it helps you have your own tracking center, you control everything.Or we can help you to use a free web based tracking software. Tracking software for your inforamation.

I can't claim if these people really did write/create/develop the soft/firm wares for the trackers, and myself I'm not a device programmer so have not asked these people. But perhaps if interested to see if the original firmware source code can be obtained (I expect for a price but I don't know) it might be worth asking here rather than try to reverse/unassemble the binary firmwares like those shared by Grottenolm. |

Hi I need some help converting the GPS lat and long I receive from my TK102. My calculations don't seem quite right when I compare the results on Google Maps. For example
I receive 5044.1761 from the tracker I put this into google maps as 50 44.1761'N it shows me a conversion to decimal degrees 50.736268 Now I think to work out Decimal Degrees I need to do this
50+(44/60)+(17.61/3600) = 50.738225 = Error of 0.001939
What am I doing wrong?

Did you round the values? If you use "unrounded" values everything is fine. |

Hmm I'm not sure if there is any rounding taking place?
44/60 = 0.7333333333 17.61/3600 = 0.0048916667 = 0.7382250000

5044.1761 from the tracker is 50 degrees 44.1761 minutes
So, convert the minutes (and decimal minutes) to decimal degrees 44.1761 / 60 = 0.736268333
Now feed 50.736268333 into Google maps
Edited to correct the decimal point position |

I have two of the Xexun TK102-2 trackers (the IMEIs check out on their website)
But one of them is no longer working - the LED just flashes quickly.
Is there a way to reset it, please?

I thought, perhaps, I might need to do that. So, just ordered a USB lead.
I was hoping for something simpler - - and quicker |

Thanks for the suggestion.
Tried that (a number of times), with no luck.
It just keeps flashing.

Hello everyone,
Here's a picture of the software working on my tk-102.

I dont think its importante, but i must mention that im using the gsm sim card on the device while its receiving commands.
Above is my log while the test was running:

AT+CMGF=1

AT+CMGF=1
AT+CMGR=1
AT+CMGD=1
AT+CMGS="12345678901"
BEGIN ok!
Also, here is a modified firmware for tk-102 that implements the MOVE function on gprs mode, not only on SMS mode:
IMPORTANT: This firmware is designed for tk-102 trackers using SIM340.

Any feedback on this firmware would be apreciated!
But link to firmware is broken. May be some one can re-upload this firmware?
