@kensm,
Hi, i have a TK103 unit which is not from Xexun, and i cant make it to send GPRS data. It can make it to send SMS but not GPRS.

adminip123456 77.74.50.78 20157
apn123456 vitamax.snet.vodafone.net
t030s***n123456

and the position datas return with SMS, not GPRS !

What is the problem ?

Try to set the apn before the adminip.
I know it makes no sense, but some firmwares works whis way.
Also if it doesnt work, send the command "tracker123456" to the unit.

Best Regards.

I tested, but not change .....

Send coordinates with SMS not GPRS ....

My SIM card is GPRS-ready, I tested !

Please reconfigure with proper settings like these:

begin123456
adminip123456 123.123.123.123 1111 (use the settings of your server)
apn123456 internet.eplus.de (use your apn)
t005m***n123456 (for 5 minute sending interval)
gprs123456

EDIT: Thats exact the way i have gone and it was working, but because i had xexun copy and the unit was bad quality i had to reconfigure it after every battery removal.
If you need testserver with static IP just tell me.

@k2laci -- check your manual. Here are some useful commands:

GPRS123456 - turn on GPRS mode
SMS123456 - turn on SMS mode (also cancels any reporting intervals)

txxxyzzzn123456 - program reporting interval. Some examples:
t020s001n123456 - report location in 20 seconds, one time
t005m***n123456 - report location in 5 minutes indefinitely
t001h010n123456 - report location in 1 hour ten times

Each of the numbers above cannot exceed 255 (ie: do not program to report every 999 seconds...) Also, the numbers MUST be 3 digits in length!

notn123456 - cancel reporting interval
move123456 - report location when the unit moves more than 200 meters(works on my TK102 copy)
nomove123456 - cancel 'move' reporting
monitor123456 - turn on "monitor" mode. This deactivates location reporting and turns on the internal microphone
tracker123456 - turn on "tracker" mode. This deactivates monitor mode and restores location reporting.

Some days ago i got TK-102 from ebay and found that they updated format for GPRS data sending. Main changes are added GSM data and battery voltage. I`m writing software for this devices and decided to share this information.

# 4 : A - Data validity, A = Valid, V = Invalid
# 5 : 5004.3510 - latitude: ddmm.mmmm - 50 degress 04.3510 minutes
# 6 : N - N/S Indicator - N = northern, S = southern
# 7 : 01426.5153 - longitude: dddmm.mmmm - 014 degrees, 26.5153 minutes
# 8 : E - E/W Indicator - W = western, E = eastern
# 9 : 1.45 - Speed over ground, Knots

# 13 : - Magnetic variation (probably unsupported)
# 14 : A*60 - GPRMC Checksum
# 15 : L - GPS signal indicator, could be L No Fix, F Got FIX, may be other values
# 16 : help me - sos message, empty if got from call or periodic report

Hello

i´m new at this board. I found you because I have a problem with my gps tracker. I don´t know which version this tracker is, but I have some pictures for you:
http://www.bilder-upload.eu/show.php?file=ULCBgClqVvFe2q4.jpg
http://yfrog.com/jccimg0833qj

The tracking via sms works excellent, but I have some problems with the GRPS and the tool "GPS Tracker" from the company "LFTrinity". I don´t know what the problem is. My proceeding was this:
1. begin123456
2. adminip123456 mydns.dyndns.org 7070
3. apn123456 data.access.de
4. t005m***n123456

SMS number 1-3 gives a positive response to me. The GPS Tracker Tool on my computer listen on port 7070 and is configured with the IMEI from the tracker. My router is configured with a port forwarding to my computer. The sim card works with GPRS.

But it doesn´t work.

On a other page i have read, that I can use the command "gprs123456" but I don´t get any reaction from the tracker.

What is wrong? Is my proceeding incorrect?

thank you

Hi. I'm Rui from Portugal and also just bought one of these recently.
It has been working fine and I will post my opinion soon.
One question for now.
I realised that on line 26 and 27 we have the cellular identification.
Wouldn´t it be possible for the tracker to use this information when the GPS signal is not available?
I think it would be a grat update.
I also think there is some free space inside the box that could have been used for a bigger battery.
It´s also a pity there is no intenal memory to log the reports.

Greetings

Good day.
I am Rui Tavares from Portugal and I have been reading this thread as I have a problem with my tracker.
I have a tracker (TK102), which seems to be a clone, that I bought from ebay from a seller called eternaldigital, that has just stopped having access to the map via the link in the sms. It now says Invalid SMS. Can you help me getting it to work again? An example of the link in the sms:354779834050539@1274216.205@-2912225.64" target="_blank">http://www.wxlxy.com/GPSTracker.aspx?key=354779834050539@1274216.205@-2912225.64

Thank you in advance
