| Interesting, looks like a nüvi 8xx with built-in DVB-H mobile TV. Italy has been at the forefront of this technology for a while, I remember seeing a Geosat GPS with that feature at the 2006 3GSM show. I think they are hoping to push the technology for the Euro 2008 soccer championships. |

Ci mancano solo la sveglia al collo e l'anello al naso...
Once we were Civilization, building roads, bridges and aqueducts which are still standing, now we are only a bunch of soccer addicts...
Moreover, the DVB-T signal is mostly free, while for the DVB-H signal you must pay through your nose... |

| Norway and other european country is also sending out several free channels using DVB-T (norway using mpg4), so why then use DVB-H, strange. |

| I don't know a lot about DVB-H, but compared to DVB-T it is optimized for mobile platforms (resolution, bandwidth ?) and there is likely some form of "roaming" built-in. DVB-T is now quite present in France and there is a GPS by Siemens VDO that has a DVB-T tuner, can't say I found it very useful though. |
