REMEMBER TO ENTER THE HTML COLOR CODE BACKWARDS....
EXAMPLE: if blue is (FF 00 00) enter as (00 00 FF)
OE < your font size which is the 18th set (in blue)
A1) Change the color of the arrows direction(Xania)
It is possible to customize the colors of the arrow keys used in the two paved yard.
Copy the file MN6 \ Settings \ ApplicationSettings.xml on your PC. In securely back.
With Notepad or another text editor, change the lines in the next paragaraphes
<Schematic> <PrimaryParams> and <Schematic> <SecondaryParams>
<RouteColor> FF8000 </ RouteColor>
In
<RouteColor> FF0000 </ RouteColor>
The colour code FF0000 is the hexadecimal code for the red color in RGB.
These codes are obtained easily with most drawing software (Paint Shop Pro for example).
Save the file as amended and recopy on his gps at the original location, via Activesync,
replacing the original file (MN6 should not be active). Although it has always check the extension. Xml

The parameters are quite revealing. The interval refresh the screen in milliseconds. You can add the second to the display format (HH ':' mm ':' ss). The color codes are the RGB hexadecimal codes.
It will, of course, in addition to MN6, launch clock.exe but it is entirely possible to make a small script to automate this through MortScript.
BLUE - I only know how to run this clock via WinCe. Just put the file in Utilities folder. Regarding Mn6 & POI ....I have no CLue!

This is a patch for miopocket to fix Navigon TRAFFIC problem for 2100.

It is only for Navigon 2100 with traffic activated, do not use it for other models. This will not activate 2100 units without traffic activation.
Included is hacked wisnavigon.exe now executes autotrunEC.exe (renamed from original autorunCE.exe). This will allow TMC activated 2100 units to work properly.
In addition, quickLaunch utility configured to launch task manager is automatically started at boot up. Look for the tiny beige triangle at the bottom left corner. This is very useful for existing out of Navigon Navigator without having to do a hard reboot.
To apply the patch, just copy the 3 files and the entire mioauotrun directory into the root of your SD card. Overwrite the existing file.
After the files have been copied, just do a hard reboot, and that's it. You will be able to run Navigon with traffic by clicking on the Navigon icon.

I made this theme a while ago now, so I can't remember all the changes.
Also I don't know how to make animated GIF's, these are just the photos used.
Some of the customizations are Blue's, and some are mine. (Thanks Blue!)

- Started with Matt's original blue/transparency scheme
- Colored some of the buttons (you can see some on the main screen)
- Added Papa709394's larger fonts (except compass)
- My background and splash screens
- Shows the Mach5 as the pointer, but I did not include it here (only the resource file is here), so whatever image you have in the MN6\Settings\Data\QVGA_Apollon_Landscape directory is what will show up as the pointer

As you can see, Christina sings for you first (wish I could replace that Navigon startup sound), and then she salutes you while you are waiting for the system to load (if you have to ask who Christina is, you no longer have a pulse).

Very nice Joseph! Very classic British Racing Green. The only color to get for the MiNi in my opinion.

Thanks for the positive comments for the Star Trek. I was nervous there for a minute.

Well I booted into windows to see what this was all about. Wow, there is a ton of work that goes into skinning. Tons of icons etc.
I tried opening up MN6ResourceView in Ubuntu and was not able to, I may be able to do so from Ubuntu as long as it resides in Windows, this I am not sure.
Having read some posts here, I have to say Fireworks is probably the easiest image editor to work with, I just clicked on a .png from MN6ResourceView and the .png opened up in Fireworks, I edited the file and then closed it saving the changes I made, they were applied in MN6ResourceView so unless it grows, this is simple as pie for working with these icons, Fireworks exports and imports flawlessly.
ETA... Sorry if my post is not copasetic, I see and know this is for completed skins and I have in no way completed one yet. |
