Nice collection of POIs, any chance you could add the actual altitude in the name of the POI ?
THANKS! Did you notice FL has a higher peak than Delaware! The Highest Peaks in each State has the elevation/altitude in the Garmin comment column. Regarding the description of the POIs, the first 2 letters are obliviously the State's abbreviation and then the Peaks name. Not quite sure where you'd add elevation besides in the comment column. If you've got an idea let me know and I'll try add the data, no problem. Thanks Robert |
Thanks, Robert |

| Sorry had missed that comment field, other systems like TomTom don't have that though, hence my suggestion to add the information in the name of the POI, but it's probably esaier said then done! |

No Problem. I'll look into it. Only issue will be the Garmin limited number of characters in the name menu. It would require 5 additional characters for 10000 foot elevation description. I think keeping the State abbreviation is very important and also the actual name of the peak. Regardless, I'll se what can be done and get back with you. I appreciate you looking at it. I am familiar with Garmin streetpilot series GPS units ONLY! So let me know what I can do to help others and their GPS units, like you mentioned. |
Thanks, Robert |
