That didn't work Lutz, however I did manage to get hold of the missing file from another source. I copied it back to the device and the video player is working fine again.

Thanks for everyones help in this

Time Problem

I have run into a problem, that I cannot resolve. I cannot change the date or time. I am stuck in 2007, and hours behind. I have even tried to change it in the CE control panel with no luck. It always reverts back to the same time and/or date. Anyone run across this problem and solve it? Any coaching on fixing would be great.

Thanks

PW

@rclements

There are two things noticeable in that image:
A compass.
Two transparent bars.

What exactly you want from that screen shot?

Has anyone tried installing a custom TomTom voice, such as Marilyn Monroe?

Why so serious?

@jyqureshi

The two transparent bars... I can't get them to work ...
My problem is that there are two EFM mods and there are three ipaq types (310,312 and mine.. the 314).
witch all work but can not be mixed... I lost it somewhere...

So I need a full working Mod lyke the one placed on page 61 for my 314..
Can you help me?

thanx for the reply

Okay. Many thanks. Considering the process for the Susan/Kate upgrades from the TomTom versions, I thought it'd be worth asking after.

Why so serious?

TTS "upgrade" worked because it was the same Text2Speech engine files but higher quality whereas custom Tomtom voices are recorded and as the format is different it is not possible to install custom Tomtom voices to iPAQ.

I don't have TomTom - so the only way to install right now is to have a TomTom device to go the TTS 'upgrade' route ?

Sancho

I have used Sznyt's skins in the past both for my small Amcor 3900 unit that uses igo06, and for my Mio 520, his skins work great, but I did not think he was making an 800x 480, is he ?

You can't. You can purchase Europe or Western Europe maps from HP, but that is it at the moment.

I have updated the EFM mod;

* Pressing the Next Street name will open the avoid menu
* The ETA data will show Time left on trip, Distance and Estimated Time of Arrival when on a route
* When it is not on a route, it will switch to GPS Time, Speed, Altitude
* Pressing the ETA data will open the ROUTE INFO screen

There have been a few other small changes to the text position to make things look better.
