I got Opera at http://hpcmonex.net/izemize/myopera860trialu2_MSaygshell_fixed.zip but got CRC error upon using WinRAR to extract. It said the 2 files in there are corrupt. Any idea ?
I think, the WinRAR is bad for the extract it. Use the embended windows extarcter. The http://hpcmonex.net/izemize/myopera860trialu2_MSaygshell_fixed.zip is a good archive file. |

The root folder is missing every soft reset, and the system is copy the wince's component from ROM to the RAM. Use the MortScript for the copy, write a script! :) |

I did the 'drive_carefully=0' fix, but still get the nag screen in some circumstances.
In ResidentFlash\IPAQ\NAV\Data.zip ...
in ui_hp-sagan\common\ui\drive_carefully.ui
Comment out all the commands in the sc_drive_carefully_init script as below :-
<script sc_drive_carefully_init> ; run sc_drive_carefully_show ; btn_dc_agree.hide ;ui_drive_carefully_xhtml.z 100005 ; KEY "RETURN" ;KEY "REC" ; KEY "UP" ;KEY "DOWN" </script>
... and that should be the end of the nag screen ;-)

You could the restart the device w/o nav.exe and oasis.exe: - copy the CECMD.EXE to your SD card - rename the CECMD.EXE to CElauncher.exe - put the card to the HP310 - press the reset button - look at the screen: http://www.pdamania.hu/uploads/DSC09562.jpg

After this process you can run other GPS stuffs, and can use the COM7 for GPS.

urghhh (chokes at the thought).
Even if it would run it would need a BT connection to the X10 receiver, and that is not currently possible. |

I extracted ok using windows extracter. I still haven't got Opera working yet. I tried 2 different times (1st time double click on Opera did nothing, another time still got that opera.dll error). I'll poke at some more but looks like some early pages people also had this problem.
Was there any registy change involved ? I believe someone mentioning changing value registry for \Application Data. |

No no no. It has two versions: GMXT w/ GPS 10, and GMXT microSD! :) (microSD: https://buy.garmin.com/shop/shop.do?pID=11413) |

Download the WinCE version of the Total Commander CE: http://www.ghisler.com/wince2x.htm You can install with .cab file, OR unpack the .cab file, and rename the largest file to cecmd.exe, and copy to PNA. |

| Anyone with a HP iPaq 310 (or similar) can you please upload your zip files for the tts voices? They are only ~100kB each and they are located in \content\voice. They are named "v_loq_tts". I especially need the non-English ones. I'm using these to build higher quality voices than the ones that come with the HP iPaq 310. |

| I tried to watch an MP4 video - not encrypted or secure - on both the built in video player and TCPMP. The video player didn't even find the file - and when I played it on TCPMP I got a message that it was assumed to be illegal and my plug in was uninstalled. (It was a home video of my kid and her horse, oh well). I have a lot of videos in that format and would prefer not to have to remake them if there is a solution. |
