For those who got Opera working, did you do this step per Sancho's instruction on page 30 ?

- copy the "\Windows\AppMgr" folder to "\ResidentFlash\Program Files\Opera\sys\Application Data" folder,

I couldn't find AppMgr under \Windows.

Also, I installed MortScript in \ResidentFlash\Program Files. I guess you used this program to run opera.mscr ?

Wow, that's amazing, didn't think it could be done on a WinCE device, maybe we owe that to WinCE5 ! I'll try to dig out my old Socket WiFi card. Can you give some details on the steps you followed?

Simple steps to get Opera running. First, install opera in \ResidentFlash. Second, copy the new opera.dll, aygshell.dll (see page 31 from Sancho1234) and CELLCORE.DLL into the Opera directory. After you have done this Opera will work. Now, if you reset the 310 the files in \Application Data\Opera will be lost. Follow Sancho1234 post (page 30) on modifing the WinCE startup to automatically copy this directory at boot. BTW, you do not need the files in \Windows, they are for the un-install process.

- install the original PPC driver of the WLAN SD card,
- find the wlan.exe, and copy the required dlls to dir of it,
- turn off the WEP/WPA in your router,
- run the wlan.exe,
- wait the wifi signal and look at the first page of the WLAN SD settings... :)

Wow!! Great.
We have a Spectec WLAN SD card, does it work on ipaq 310?
If not, could I simply installed the driver of Pretec?
Could you upload your driver? I'd like to try it.

http://www.freeweb.hu/izemize/coredll.zip (10th)
http://rapidshare.com/files/93528146/Opera.dll_for_WinCE_5.0.zip.html (Dated 10/2/2007 with 5255 KB)
http://www.freeweb.hu/izemize/aygshells.zip (12th)

I notice the filename coredll.dll is also refered as cellcore.dll (Please tell me if they're the same). I updated coredll.dll, opera.dll and aygshells.dll and I still get error on opera.dll.

No, coredll.dll is NOT the same as cellcore.dll. You don't need coredll.dll, it's already in /windows. The cellcore.dll is in the optional directory in the 8.60u2 trial zip file (page 20. Put cellcore.dll in the Opera directory.

[SNIP]

Even after copying the cellcore.dll to Opera directory, I still got opera.dll error. This is the same error that Jaredr got on page 21 when he said he copied this file and still got error. Just want to be sure this directory is \ResidentFlash\Program Files\Opera, where opera.exe is.

I have no more suggestions. It does not matter where these 6 files are, only that they are together:

aygshell.dll 21.5KB 01/21/2006 11:38am
opera.dll 5.13MB 10/02/2007 4:29am
opera.exe 39.5KB 09/29/2006 5:46am
xmlparse.dll 125KB 09/29/2006 2:20am
zip.dll 40KB 09/29/2006 2:20am
cellcore.dll 7KB 11/23/2005 12:18am

I copied these files to /SDMMC/Opera and Opera still runs, that is with /Application Data/Opera/...

Good luck.
