If you already got a Spectec SDIO wi-fi card, try this app: http://www.nakka.com/soft/npop/download/npop109ce211_EN.zip
(choose ARM processor) from http://www.nakka.com/soft/npop/index_eng.html.
It is a POP3 e-mail client. It installs without an issue on IPAQ 310 and is a good way to test IPAQ internet abilities

I try a Pretec WLAN SD card tomorrow. It has WinCE 3.0 driver. :) I write the developments then.

Thanks for the step by step help, much appreciated. However, when I try to export the registry (one key at a time) to the SDMMC directory,I get a fatal error every time for ClassesRoot and LocalMachine. The key file save simply fails to complete all items. The fail point is reproducible. The save always works for CurrentUser!! This happens with any regedit program. What am I missing?

Use the PHM Registry Editor, it's the one I use to backup/restore the 310 registry.

I got Opera at http://hpcmonex.net/izemize/myopera860trialu2_MSaygshell_fixed.zip but got CRC error upon using WinRAR to extract. It said the 2 files in there are corrupt. Any idea ?

I installed Opera fine but got an error about opera.dll even I copied the latest opera.dll from Sancho's link. I also updated aygshell.dll and coredll.dll files. Am I missing something ?
