| @vadimrok: Did you install the opera to the \ResidentFlash? My experience is if you installed to your SD card, it will not work. |

I believe I tried to do it either way, but I am not sure that I am using the right version. Can you recommend a working one?
Thanks in advance |

| I read the entire thread but cannot get iGuidance 4 working correctly. I have copied the map files to the SD card and copied both Cab files (iGuidance2003.PPC300_2577.CAB and iguidance2005.PPC300_2577.CAB) to the device, as well as the the needed 4 files. If I install the 2005 version and add the needed 4 files to the directory, it will not startup at all, if I use the 2003 version and add the 4 needed files it will startup but I cannot get TTS or any voices to work, just a ding sound. Has anyone else had success with iGuidance 4 and what is the proper steps. |

don't set your taskbar to auto-hide, it is not very easy to pull it back up.
If all else fails, extract the files from the CAB with Winzip and rename the largest file to TRE.exe and copy that to the device.
Finally, got it. I had to extract the cab file and rename to TRE.exe. Transfered it and TRE.reg file to TRE in \ResidentFlash and ran it there. Thanks, Ibendlin.
Sancho, I selected ResidentFlash method but that didn't work.

@Sancho1234 I've tried many different configurations to get Opera to work, but I can not. I don't think the problem is coredll.dll because the IPAQ has coredll.dll in /windows. After I install Opera, I do three steps:
1) copy the new opera.dll into the Opera directory 2) copy the new CELLCORE.DLL into the Opera directory 3) copy AYGSHELL.DLL from the games into the Opera directory.
After these three steps, I do not get the "Opera.dll" error, but Opera still does not work. The problem is probably the aygshell.dll. What aygshell.dll do you use? |

| @sidewinderFW: Don't use the aygshell.dll come with IPAQ 310, use one with size 22k. |

@SidewinderFW:
The AYGSHELL.DLL from the games is not work with other apps! Use the 14th AYGSHELL.DLL from Chan's "izemize" site: http://www.freeweb.hu/izemize/hpc.php |

THANK YOU! That fixed it. Opera requires the aygshell.dll in directory 12 from aygshells.zip. Now my next step is to get BlueSoleil to talk bluetooth with my phone.

for that we need to get our hands onto the full current Bluesoleil stack. They offer a test stack for download but it is very out of date, and doesn't do much more than switch BT on.
Don't forget the other potential alternative - a WiFi SD card with drivers for Win CE 5 |
