1. Lost my contact page after update-you have to be careful to delete user data during updates.
I know, sorry. In future release user data will be preserved
2. App manager (where you add a program) recognizes only 32bit icons. Spend an hour researching how to convert icons to 32 bits.
In ..\bbO\Icons\bbO ther are 2 icons: empty.ico & empty_f2.ico. U can use it as master and paste above the logo u like.
the 32-bit icons are a choice of the person who created SystemInformation
3. Is it possible to use embedded icon as a default one?
If u mean "use the icon inside/included with the exe program" the answer is no.
If u do not set an ico, a default ico with bbO logo will be set for u
4. Can you consider to add 'Minimize' feature to bbo? I know I can close it by tapping on 'bbo' logo, but then I have to start it back.
u can go to "dos" and run any appications using the shell button without having to close bbO and leaving the application runs in background.
u can go back to bbo using the switch application icon on the bottom bar
Otherwise, bbo shell works great! Good job, bobkane.And nice wmp skin too!

Why not? It should be not so hard by default to extract an icon from exe and embed it into empty.ico template. The benefit is huge for lazy people like me-to skip a lengthy and cumbersome process of creating its own icon-anyway,why those embedded icons are for? ;)
Also,is it possible to add programs to Office page? I have two great programs I use a lot- book reader Alreader2 and dictionary Mdict that seems to belong there.

Install the HP icon to iPAQ 310 drives:
# Download it: http://blog.sancho.hu/download/HP_iPAQ_316/HPiPAQ310icon.zip
# Unzip the files (HP.ico and autorun.inf)
# Copy Resident Flash root
# Copy SD root
# Reconnect the HP iPAQ 310 to PC
# Look at the Explorer and the icons of HP drives
You can rename the drives in the autorun.inf, change the "label=HP iPAQ 310 Flash" line (example "label=HP iPAQ 310 SD"), and reconnect the device.
Please, share better HP.ico file, because I could not create... :) |

Yes, u can
Edit the Powerpoint section and convert it into a jump button
All the section, excluding shell and few application locked are totally configurable as u like
Somenthing like the Sam Lloyd's "15" puzzle...  |

Hi all,
There is a proposal for the wonderful bbO.
To enable Wireless Zero Configuration (WZC) client for WINDOWS CE, so you will be able to use WiFi cards with your Ipaq, before installing the bbO, when it is already copied to the SD Card and BEFORE installing the bbO to the Ipaq do the following:
1. Copy files, stored in NATIVEWZC.zip to \OS\System\CE5
2. Copy wzc_821.reg to OS\System\Registry
Upon installation of the bbO and after the soft restart of the Ipaq, it will now be able to work with SDIO WiFi cards. I have made this mod to my Ipaq 316 and it works perfectly with the SPECTEC SDIO WiFi card 821g (the blue one).
The driver for that card is in the WLAN11g.dll file, I think. Perhaps if you replace that file with the appropriate driver for your card (Ambeon, etc.) it will work too.
You will only need to plug in the WiFi SDIO card and in the right corner, next to the clock, you will be able to see the icon for WiFi (a small monitor). Click on it, and configure your WiFi access. It works with WPA2, WEP , just like configuring a WiFi on a laptop through the WZC of Windows XP.
Just do not know where to upload the NATIVEWZC.zip

Hi to all,
Sorry for the rapishare. I am not quite acuqinted with the regulations of the rapidshare. If you suggest another place, I will instantlu upload the neccessary files. The files in NATIVEWZC.zip build the missing WZC client in windows CE and contain a driver for the SDIO WiFi card. In my case Spectec 821g. I believe, that if you are not to change the reg file, the simpliest way is just to rename your driver to Wlan11g.dll. After the soft restart the WZC works fine. The trick is that the bbO defines in the registry alternative pathe to files in the HKLM Loader for additional system files, which survive the reset. Hence the Windows CE loads necessary components for the WZC together with the SDIO WiFi driver. The rest is just configuring the connection. The WPA2 key remains written in the registry and also survives the reset. Good luck. |
