Hey,
Thanks for the quick response.
Is there any chance I could download this TCPMP directory from somewhere?

| @gpspassion, I searched rotate.exe, but there are too many results. Anyway, thanks a lot. |

@gpspassion, I'll look into the uploading. I just tried the Matrix trailer in the built-in player. I haven't had too much time lately to boot out into WinCE to experiment. Been driving a lot lately and wanted to check out the default mapping software.
Pocketdivxencoder is great. I used it for my Mio at 320x240, but I couldn't figure out how to get it to encode at 800 pixel width resolution to test out the HP. Maybe I need to update my xvid encoder, not sure. |

| The rotate api on the 310 only does 0 (no rotate). The screen also does not blank like anything from 2003 onward does (using the power mgmt api; didn't try the lower level esc stuff). Neither of which is probably that big of a deal to most. |

That settles it then.
I found a way to add back the pedestrian mode : add Pedestrian|5| in line 137 (depends on your version) in the setting_800_480.ui file in ui_hp_sagan\800_480\ui in the data.zip
<SLIDER sldSR_Vehicle template=xsld_275 x=35 y=86 z=1
value="Car|0|Taxi|1|Bus|2|Truck|3|Pedestrian|5|Bicycle|6"
var=nVehicle ONSELECT='run sc_change_Vehicle'> |

My iPAQ 310 crashed, I did it this way:
1. Copied the data.zip onto my computer 2. Unzipped into \data folder 3. Renamed data.zip to dataBackUp.zip 4. Edited the setting_800_480.ui found in \data 5. Zipped \data folder to data.zip using WinZip 6. Copied the new data.zip file onto iPAQ 310 7. iPAQ doesn't boot 8. Restored data.zip file from dataBackUp.zip
How did you do it? |

1. Copied the data.zip onto my computer. Filed it in a safe place. 2. Unzipped ONLY THE ui_hp_sagan Folder (to my desktop). 3. Modified the setting_800_480.ui file per GPSPassion's instructions. 4. Saved the file and exited. 5. Zipped ONLY the UI_HP_SAGAN folder back to my Data.zip file on Ipaq. 6. Disconnected my Ipaq and reset the device. 7. Kept the ORIGINAL DATA.zip AND the modified UI_HP_SAGAN folder for safe keeping since any updates might wipe out the changes...

I tried this and it made my volume louder! I can't promise this will work... Maybe I just THINK my volume got stronger...(Always backup your device!)
In the Data.zip file (NAV), extract the "Project_Config" file. Open the hp_sagan.ini file and scroll down to: [sound] use_os_volume=1 sound_volume=64 voice_volume=64 I don't know why the volume was set that low, but I increased it to: [sound] use_os_volume=1 sound_volume=120 voice_volume=120 Saved the file and added it back to Data.zip. My volume is much louder... I THINK. Maybe someone else will try it and let me know how it works... |
