Posted - 05 nov. 2010 : 05:58:10 I did hard reset for many times and found that some used data was not deleted.
For example. I searched hotel in Rome (Bellodimacro) and then navigated to. After that , Nuvi will show "Bellodimacro" just I type "B" everytimes I search POIs by spelling.
And "Bellodimacro" still show up after many times of hard reset !
Anyone know where this data be saved ? Is it in rom and can't delete even do hard reset ?
Why 3790us-->3790Sg/Mal fail to go back to us firmware? Is it possible that., there are some datas like ""Bellodimacro"" is generated when converted to Sg/Mal and saved to the rom., so we face rebooting loop when flash 3790us with us gcd or rgn. ?
Why 3790 do not show board' information in inventory page?
Do someone know how to access the rom.? Can we change data within rom ie nuvi 3790 --> nuvi 3799 ?[ed]

Posted - 05 nov. 2010 : 06:21:31 The data is saved in the /.System/SQLite folder in the user_strings.db file. Other unit parameters are also stored in SQLite .db files such as your myTrends predictive data (pre.db) and POIs that you checked as being invalid or given a "star" rating (local_poi.db).
