Updated 20090504 - This is now confirmed, Navigon USA are laying off most of their staff and will only keep operations running to support existing models. This likely means new maps via the FreshMaps subscriptions, it's unlikely the 7310 software update will be made available for the 7210 model though...

Original Post : Can't name my source, but Navigon US has closed nearly its entire North American offices, employees are laid off and there will be no spring product launches.

If you don't have a backup, other than buying another 2100 Max I'm not aware of any other way to fix this. I'm not sure how customer handle this type of situation in Europe, it's probably pretty costly.

Since we can't talk to Navigon via phone and they are not responding to emails does anyone know where I might be able to get hold of replacement software for my 2100 MAX. The files on the card got corrupted and now it's useless. Any suggestions of where I might be able to get/buy a replacement SD card would be helpfull

The cigarette power plug/traffic antenae is not working.

This is indeed quite disappointing, what's wrong with your GPS ?

@aaronwt - don't know but check the Q2 Navigon Fresh topic to see when the latest ones were released and ask over there.

Hello all,

i need to know where can i find navigon Sync for my 8100T ?

i bought my new 8100T last week, and i think the Navigon Support is not very good, they don't know for Navigon Sync, i told him they can read on 85 pages (manual French) they put Link www.navigonusa.com/sync. but the link don't work :(

anybody know can i find ?

Why did the 7300T, 4300T, and 3300 MAX models just show up on the BestBuy online website? They were not there last week. And you can actually add the items to you cart and order them. Although it says they are backordered and will ship in 2 to 3 weeks.
Navigon announced 3 weeks ago that they are pulling out of the market. I wonder why these units just showed up on the BEstBuy website. Maybe Navigon has decided to sell the units they had packaged and were ready to sell in the US.
