I purchased the 2009 map update and found it takes up too much space which causes me to have to connect to my PC and load the states that I'll be in.
I'd love to just restore this to the original C550 factory settings.
I contacted tech support but they said I'd have to purchase a CD to reset this.
Does anyone have a backup of the original files?

Thanks,
Rick

GlennW......That worked GREAT!
Thanks for the advice. I did that right after you said but am just now finding this thread again to say thanks.

Rather than re-installing all the files, consider deleteing music (if any) loaded internally. If you are still short on space, you can also delete unused languages; I deleted all except the generic American English and the Jack and Jill (TTS) voices. This frees up 14 to 15 MB per voice removed (there are two files per voice). If later you need the deleted voices, you can restore them using the web updater. Another way to free up space is to delete unused vehicles (about 1.3 MB per vehicle).
