I wrote a little script to automate the NMEA to KML process in gpsbabel.

You put bpsbabel.exe, libexpat.dll and export.vbs in the root folder of the Amod in windows. Double click on the export.vbs to generate the kml files. The default script filters some readings. Edit to tweak any options.

Thanks for sharing, interesting use of the AMOD's USB/driverless feature - you might want to put a link to this topic from the AMOD's own topic.

Since you mention filters, there is a new firmware for the AMOD now to remove the SN setting, I added the link yesterday.
