UPDATED BY GPSPASSION 20090128 - New Q1/2009 Freshmaps available, details in this topic.

UPDATED BY GPSPASSION 20081105 - As expected the new Navigon Q4/2008 Maps (Navteq Q2/2008) maps are now available via the FreshMaps program as well as a free MN|7 update for the 2100max and 2120max models. A good surprise since software upgrades are far and between on GPS systems. Not such a good surprise is TMC Traffic information that has stopped working properly with the Q4/2008 maps as discussed in this topic in detail.

As a side-note, if you don't have your Navigon Fresh subscrition yet, you can get it here for a low $25 vs the $79 MSRP.

UPDATED BY GPSPASSION 20080801 - The Navigon FreshMaps program has now launched in the US, just in time to meet the July 31st deadline for the release of Q3/2008 FreshMaps that are in fact Navteq Q1/2008 maps. Still these are the most up to date maps available on a GPS system at this point, Garmin's "2009 maps" being Navteq 2007 based, and represents a little revolution in the world of GPS where getting map updates has always been problematic. The fact that Navigon are only asking $79 (street price : $59) for 3 years and 12 map updates makes it a deal that's difficult to pass on. Forum member aljacket has downloaded the maps and has started sharing his thoughts on page 3.

Navigon is going to a subscription model for map updates. It actually looks like one heck of a deal to me.

Basically you pay $79 and you get 12 map downloads over a 3 year period. They say they will release a map update whenever navteq does an update. That's less then $7 per map update if you download them all.

"NAVIGON Unveils Fresh Approach to Map Updates - NAVIGON's FreshMaps provides users with three years of quality map updates

CHICAGO, March 4, 2008 – NAVIGON, the fastest growing brand in GPS navigation in North America, today announced a bold solution to a conundrum that is as old as the consumer GPS category itself: how to provide consumers regular, easy access to quality map updates.

NAVIGON's convincing response to the dilemma is FreshMaps, a new service that ensures NAVIGON GPS devices stay accurate and viable over the long haul by allowing users to download up to 12 map updates in three years. NAVIGON FreshMaps is available for all NAVIGON 7100, 5100, and 2100/2120 series devices and can be purchased online and at major North American retail outlets for $79.99 (MSRP)... continues here on the Navigon site.

They have also announced a new 2100 model called the 2100 max, see this topic (ed)

Maybe, but I still downloaded the latest maps from Fresh a couple months ago, and can still log into the Navigon site, but the Navigon site no longer lists my devices with Fresh subscriptions, which is why I cannot do a zip download.
lost-in-space Posted - 05 nov. 2012 : 10:26:31
I thought they stop stop supporting Navigon this past summer?
elkinm Posted - 05 nov. 2012 : 05:32:40
I am using the older version, specifically 1.4.7.
lrtrees Posted - 05 nov. 2012 : 02:31:41
Well there is a problem, unless I am just missing something. I am able to launch fresh and login, but when I try to select my device, I get a message that indicates something to the effect that my software is not currently supported.

Are you using the older version of fresh, or a newer version where you must create a new account with garmin?

elkinm Posted - 04 nov. 2012 : 20:52:27
I still cannot get the updates from the website, but Fresh works, and I save the zip that is temporarily downloaded as a backup.

If you have fresh, try using the website as that should include all the software along with the maps which you will need if you wiped your flash.
lrtrees Posted - 03 nov. 2012 : 16:50:59
elkinm, were you ever able to find a zip file of the last update you were able to download?

I have a 8100T that kept locking up on me this past week. So I thought I would try refreshing the card, but find I did not keep the last file I downloaded.

I would appreciate any help you might be able to provide.

lost-in-space Posted - 06 juin 2012 : 01:27:33
Big waste of time, it is no deal unless you send your old unit back and pay the postage
pratzert Posted - 04 juin 2012 : 01:14:21

Thanks for that info... I'll try calling them to see what they will do for a 5100 exchange.

lost-in-space Posted - 04 juin 2012 : 01:06:15
They sent me a E-Mail

Thank you for contacting Garmin International. I will be happy to help
you with this. Over the past year, Navigon has been acquired by Garmin
International. Because of this, there is no way to correct or update
your device. Garmin will be happy to exchange your Navigon 2100 max for
a Nuvi 2455LT unit for $99. This will be a new device, however it will
only have a 90 day warranty. If you would like to find out more
information on this device, please click on the following link.
If you would like to do this, please contact the Garmin/Navigon phone
number, 866-273-4271, as we cannot take payment via email. Our phone
hours are Mon-Thur, 8-6 Central, and Fri, 8-5. If you have any other
questions, please reply to this email. Thank you.

How did you learn of the upgrade possibility from Garmin ?

Anyone tried to active a new Freshmap recently? Mine is going to end very soon.
elkinm Posted - 19 févr. 2012 : 09:10:33
Just downloaded the Q4-2011 maps form FreshMaps. I still cannot get the standalone zip from the site so I did it with the app.

This map seems to induce all of North America as the previous had only the 48 states.
Also, this map changed how street names are displayed. Capital first letter then lower case. This also has a script which converts the routes and favorites to the new name format.
It was interesting to see the difference. Will see if I like it more on the road.

Anybody else have this problem or give me a working my navigon link?

Q2/2011 maps (Navteq Q4/2010 maps normally) are now available in Europe via Navigon Fresh, shouldn't be too much longer for the US.

I updated to the Q1 2011 maps but now my Reality View option in settings is disabled and I don't get the Reality View popups when using the GPS. Has anyone else had this problem?? Any solutions?? Thanks!

smeillslikemichigan Posted - 28 avr. 2011 : 17:40:33
i received the navigon newsletter email today which claimed that Q1 2011 freshmaps is available. i was able to download it through "fresh" last week. however, when i attempted the download from the website for "other OS" it was still the 2010 map file. not to mention that it was my 12th download and navigon locked me out from future downloads of freshmaps. i contacted them about both issues and they reset my download count to zero and said i would be good through august. they said to try back in a couple days for the mac map file, which is what they told me when i contacted them a week ago about the same issue.
gpspassion Posted - 27 avr. 2011 : 06:19:34
Well you can post a message in the "good deals...bad deals" section where Freshmaps was discussed previously but I doubt there are too many unused Freshmaps US subscriptions left.

smeillslikemichigan Posted - 19 avr. 2011 : 15:16:56
yes, it's official, i was able to download the Q1 2011 update for my 7100 using freshmaps. however, the mynavigon website where i usually log in to download the "mac" version of the updates, seems to be down. i sent an email to navigon support to find out if they changed something.
*mod, can you please update the original post to reflect the availability of 2011 maps? thanks!

They get released every three months on average so it shouldn't bee too much longer now, first one who sees them can post a message here!

Wonder to know when Navigon will release 1 Q 2011 version map for 7200T. Thanks for your answers.
gpspassion Posted - 14 févr. 2011 : 03:28:38
The service is up and running and Europe and they have US maps for the iPhone so it's probably pretty easy for them to keep it going. Besides you can probably buy US maps via Navigon Fresh for a European AIO.

Where have you seen these cards recently ?
sferrojr Posted - 13 févr. 2011 : 15:13:12
There are still a some FreshMaps cards floating around out there for sale, I guess the more important question is will Navigon still keep publishing the updates for another 3 years.
gpspassion Posted - 02 févr. 2011 : 04:08:51
Good question...and a question I asked Navigon on their booth at Macworld 2011 last week.

Unfortunately they are not planning on offering Freshmaps renewals, which is consistent with the fact that Freshmaps subscriptions are no longer being sold (probably haven't been for two years). The only hope would be to find some unactivated Freshmaps cards...probably a long shot.
Bart7 Posted - 01 févr. 2011 : 17:46:32
According to my Freshmaps records, my three year quarterly updates expire in August of this year. I'm wondering if Navigon will offer any renewal option for U.S. customers? It will be interesting to see what they do.
elkinm Posted - 29 janv. 2011 : 17:26:08
I just got the latest map update for my 2200T. At first I did not notice anything, except that it may be slightly faster (my 2200 has been very slow).

But then I noticed that they completely changed how reality view and exit view look now. The images are much more 3D with much clearer arrows and bigger easier to read signs.

I am not entirely sure I like that change. It looks great, but I more interested how it displays crowded junctions with many options and if you have two maneuvers one right after another, something it did quite well previously.

When I simulated the Reality View preview route I did notice the TTS routed to 580 "W" not 580 West, which it does sometimes, something my old 2100 does not do as far as I remember.

Anybody have any comments on the new reality view?

smeillslikemichigan Posted - 10 janv. 2011 : 16:34:27
i was surprised to see this update was released on time and so soon after the last one. hopefully navigon keeps it up.
i noticed a couple differences on the 7100. first, my audio had stopped working on the previous version. that was fixed in this one. also the lane assist graphics have changed. they seem to be a little easier to follow.

Just found that Q4/2010 for freshmaps it out
lrtrees Posted - 06 nov. 2010 : 17:06:34
Navigon sent a response to the message I sent about the 8100T not showing POI's with the latest Q3/2010 download. The link was the same as the 2100Max link posted here, but with 8100T installed in place of 2100MAX. Anyway the end result is the same. No POI's displayed for any selected city. I have wrote back, but no response yet.
dojic60 Posted - 04 nov. 2010 : 02:23:44
I have the same problem. I have Navigon 8100T downloaded fresh maps Q3 2010 and lost all POI . I think they have software problem.. Please help.
lost-in-space Posted - 03 nov. 2010 : 16:13:41
Got a response from naviagon about the Zip files, have not tried it yet at work now

Thank you for your inquiry.

Regarding your concern, we kindly ask you to go to the following website link in order to successfully update your device with the Q3/2010 maps: .

lrtrees Posted - 31 oct. 2010 : 20:04:20
Yes, I hope they update it also. Still no luck with POI's. I have sent a message to Navigon, although I am not holding my breath for a response. It has to be something with the downloaded file since the older versions work.
Anyway, thanks.
lost-in-space Posted - 29 oct. 2010 : 01:08:12
Downloaded the Mac zip for the 2100Max and it said it is 2Q 2010. Works ok .
Hope they update it
lrtrees Posted - 29 oct. 2010 : 00:19:26
Ya, I show 113 Files and about 100mb of data. I tried to download the MAC file, but the date is not right and it seemed very small. I have done this in the past and never had an issue. Also I might add that I have tried several times and still keep getting the same results.
lost-in-space Posted - 28 oct. 2010 : 21:56:42
Just checked and my 2100Max shows POI's closed to me
Myabe a bad load. Do you see anything in the POI diretory?
Mine shows about 26.7 MB
lrtrees Posted - 28 oct. 2010 : 05:12:57
Well I have been attempting for most of the day to download the 2010 Q3 update to my 8100T. The downloads have been successful, but after turning the 8100T on and selecting a city, it says there are no POI's for that city. I have not been able to locate a city that will show me POI's. If I put 2010 Q2 back on the device, the POI's show up just fine.
I seem to have a good download and if I look at the size of the file, it is about what I would expect, slightly larger than the Q2 file. I have tried rebooting the 8100T, but just cannot get them to show up. I have not had this issue in the past and am just wondering if any of you have seen this. Am I doing something wrong or do you expect the download might not be quit right?
Thanks for your help and/or suggestions,

Just tried and working fine both ways. Running Win 7 64bit and used Freshmaps to update and it works fine and I also used FF and the add-on they said to use to download the file as zip file

DamonZ28 Posted - 29 juil. 2010 : 19:16:51
Download doesn't seem to be working now, via either Freshmaps or directly from the website. Website says, "A server failure has occured." Freshmaps will download, then says that an error has occurred.
leapfrog Posted - 28 juil. 2010 : 15:42:56
I signed up for the Navigon Newsletter a couple of months ago and today I received an e-mail advising me that the 2010 Q2 maps were available. You might want to sign up so you don't have to check here periodically to learn when updates are available. Now I will go back through the posts on this thread to figure out how to download and install the new maps. As I recall from last time it's tricky to find the download page for us Canadians (freshmaps doesn't work) and there's something about having to download the update as a zip file to get them installed on the smaller card in my unit that I still haven't replaced.
smeillslikemichigan Posted - 26 juil. 2010 : 04:49:33

Q2 2010 is now available - It is available through both fresh as PC version and as the "mac" version. although the mac version is just simply one that you can download the entire file to your hard drive vs straight to your device. pc users can use it as well. that's what i do. i'm downloading it now and will update when i have it installed. it's 1.9GB and downloading rather quickly.

I recently bought a 7200T. After updating the software and what not, I tried to buy the Navigon Freshmaps to update my maps but it won't let me. I have searched all over the web to buy it but there doesn't appear to be any store selling it. Can anyone please give me an idea where to buy it or where to download it from.
leapfrog Posted - 23 mai 2010 : 19:13:38
Problem solved. I'm in Canada, so I went to the "International" page (Canada isn't listed among countries), and as a result downloaded the European version of the updated Fresh software. I went back and installed the US version and all is okay. I was also successful in downloading the zip file for the Q1 2010 updated maps and installing it on my 2 GB card. For those of you who use Firefox, it isn't necessary to download File Manager as you can use the DownloadThemAll!add on.
leapfrog Posted - 23 mai 2010 : 17:02:52
Whatever you do, don't update Fresh to new version 3.0.l. I did that before trying to download Q1 2010 and now Navigon doesn't know me. I re-registered, but whenever I open Fresh 3.0.1 it gives me an error message: "Navigon Fresh could not detect a Navigon device. Please make sure that the Navigon device is connected to your computer.", even though it's connected and turned on. Tried rolling back to previous version of Navigon Fresh using Windows System restore and it won't load. Sent e-mail to Navigon but I'm not optimistic.

Navigon page order status says that this product is delivered but i dont't see any file to download on their page and navigon fresh download maps and services is empty also! Activation code that is given on navigon site does not work. It says that it is activated already and is invalid. What am i doing wrong? Thank you.
lost-in-space Posted - 15 mai 2010 : 01:26:39
look under other OS's like the MAC.. I think you have a choice of Windows or Mac..Not in Freshmaps. You have to go to the web site
Navgps Posted - 14 mai 2010 : 23:27:36

lost-in-space Posted - 14 mai 2010 : 22:04:57
Try downloading the Zip file and unzip it directly to SD card. If you try it this way, you can use the 2GB card
triem45 Posted - 14 mai 2010 : 21:30:02
After copy everthing from the 2GB to the 4GB SD card, tested it with the 4Gb card. Worked OK. Then I updated the new map, Q1/2010 to the 4GB SD Card. Everything installed beautifully. Disconnected from the computer/ Turned it on then I got the Navigon.exe Fatal error ( Exception: 0XC0000005, Address: 0092464 ). The screen froze up. I've tried with 2 different 4GB cards and 2 different SDHC card readers and reformat FAT32 many times, also reset it as well, I still got the same problem.
Please help,

I just tried to update the software on my 2100MAX and it said 7.3.2 is the lastest
smeillslikemichigan Posted - 05 mai 2010 : 20:52:31
i had a different voice on my 7100 and the routing calculation may have changed. it wanted to to go a different way to a destination than in the past. i use a 4gb card, so it fit fine on mine, but i attempted to put it on a 2gb as a backup and it wouldn't fit. the usable space on the 2gb was 1.89. i just deleted the puerto rico maps and it fit fine.
sixthday Posted - 05 mai 2010 : 17:39:20
The software has been updated to 7.3.3. Anyone what's the change in this update?

BTW: the map is till 1.93gb and thus a 2GB card should be fine.

Yes, it's odd. By the way, MAC OS X users will be happy to know that Fresh v2.6.0 for the MAC is now available :
lost-in-space Posted - 01 mai 2010 : 14:04:12
Perhaps you had a bad download, try it again or try loading the zip file and unzipping directly to your SD
card. I only had 2 address in mine, so I did not loose a lot..After I power up I go to options setting..and pick settings (by the wrench) options- and and Map display is in lower left
Navgps Posted - 01 mai 2010 : 05:19:47
Strange. I don't have map display settings. My reality view is listed under basic settings and it is the third option down but greyed out. I put my original card back in and the reality view option shows up again. Is there another screen I'm not aware of?
lost-in-space Posted - 01 mai 2010 : 03:37:44
Just checked and mine is their, first option under map display

any 4gb sdhc will work, I used a panasonic 4gb sdhc class2 card.
It did not fit into my 2gb sd card, I used a 4gb sdhc card. these are he steps I did:
. format 4gb card
. copy contents of 2gb card into my computers hard drive
. copy contents from hard drive into 4gb card
. insert 4gb sd card into 2100max sd card slot and download map using freshmaps.
Good luck.
Navgps Posted - 29 avr. 2010 : 01:13:19
Does this latest update fit on a 2 gb card? Last time the instructions said it would not but it did fit on the original card. If not, what card works best and how do you load the new map onto the larger card?

I was able to download Q1/2010 to my 2100max unit. Does anybody now what is the latest software version for 2100max?, my unit shows Version 7.3.2 (build-39). thanks

I have a Model 2100 that had been running software version 6.5.2. Today I checked for a newer version using FreshMaps and it gave me 6.5.3. Is this a recent update, and does anyone know what changes were made? FreshMaps downloaded and extracted the 25 Mb file quickly, but the installation took a long time - be patient!
gpspassion Posted - 28 avr. 2010 : 02:34:51
Good news! So they went from Q3/2009 to Q1/2010 directly ? Probably a good idea since Q1/2010 has been available in Europe since the beginning of February.

Let us know if you see anything new and how much the new maps "weigh".

It says NAVIGON release Q4/2008, but not Q4/2009! So, they release the new version of map whenever they want, not necessarily in respect with calendar...

So, USA Q4/2009 is now availablefor EU buyers but not for USA buyers?

Today, when I went to Navigon EU website and noticed they listed " Map of North America, NAVIGON release Q4/2009" for you to buy. So I go back to my freshmap, guess what. NO Q4/2009![ed] Isnt it a joke?

The last item.

leapfrog Posted - 15 mars 2010 : 05:54:52
I'm afraid it looks like you have the wrong model for Canadian maps, T45. This off the internet (Yahoo Canada news):

As for general dimensions, the Navigon 2100 Max measures 4.83 x 3.03 x .74 (WHD, in inches) and weighs 6.27 oz. On the right side is an SD card slot which holds NAVTEQ map information (this comes with the unit). Please note that the maps supplied on the card only contain the lower 48 states—if you’re heading for Anchorage, Alberta or the rainforests of Puerto Rico, track down the 2120 Max, a model aimed for drivers north of the U.S. border ($329 CAD).

I have a 5100 MAX and love it- only PND that I tried that could actually get me to were I need to go.. and I tried the big names too- all at once. he next best was a old Q3 Nextar..

I did put a Navigon file restored 4gb SD card in. They are hard to find now and Trancend seems to be a good one.

I tried downloading on my Vista 64 desktop and a "file not found" error showed. I then tried my trusty Vaio with Win7 and downloaded Fresh for Vista? yep it owrked just fine ..Downloaded that Q3-2009 map set and I'm good to go. Result- Vista still is Junk..

This thread will do, first one who sees the Q4/2009 available via Navigon Fresh can post a message here and all those who have subscribed to the thread will be notified immediately.

On the other hand, no need to post 5+ pages of complaints and litigation threats and then stop posting when the maps actually come out though as has happened for the current Q3 maps ;-)

I updated my 8100T to 3rd qtr. When I am in 3d panorama the countryside has the old shades of gray and new shades of brown. There doesn't seem to be any reasons that some should be one color or the other such as geographical lines etc. Any body else have this. Thanks
gpspassion Posted - 11 déc. 2009 : 19:36:38
Some have had to go back to an older version of Freshmaps, you should just go ahead and try to update your maps with the current version and see what happens. I'm surprised you haven't done it yet after complaining about the lack of updates for several months...
wallstreet123456 Posted - 11 déc. 2009 : 19:02:31

skysailor Posted - 10 déc. 2009 : 16:55:08
I saw that upgrade to 4GB card message and went out and purchased two 4GB SDHC cards only to find out that they are not backwards compatible with the card reader in my laptop. When you go from 2GB to 4GB you are going from standard SD to SDHC(high capacity) which is not backwards compatible and runs at higher bit rates. Anyhow, I decided to try the normal Freashmaps update using my original 2GB SD cards and the update went fine. I think the suggestion to go to 4GB is perhaps directed at specific users of Navigon products rather than across the board. I have a 2100 with only the lower 48 USA map. Maybe if you have the USA, Canada, Puerto Rico, Hawaii & Alaska map there is not enough room on a 2GB card for the updated map? I will be returning my unusable 4GB cards to Staples today.

@bc3tech - I have to make sure I get a good connection, then I can't breath near it as it will disconnect. I had to redo my back up for the Q3 update. It kept loosing connection if I bumped the cable.

Updated, no problem. Needed to re-pair the cell phone. scroll buttons on right side of screen seem to be more responsive. Or maybe the placibo effect.

Anyway, good to see Navigon released an update. Hopefully future updates will come every quarter.
bc3tech Posted - 09 déc. 2009 : 20:17:17
I, too, am getting the 4gb message. But I am also unable to get the map downloaded at all. I get a "connection attempt failed" message - is anybody else having difficulty?
me6stringin Posted - 09 déc. 2009 : 13:34:03
As far as the 4GB SDHC is concerned, it is probably a good idea to do a full back up through Freshmaps or to just do a copy all to your hard drive somewhere. The put a new 4gb sdhc disk in, copy the contents to the 4gig and test it out in the Navigon. Then, download and install the update.

I just wish they would get in line with the other manufactures to allow us to create and update POI's and then allow us to customize it a little.

New reply from Mr. S[ed] this morning:
Hi Matt,
great news. As soon as possible we will be launching the Q4 Map Material. A deadline cannot be given at the time though.
Our goal is to catch up and then deliver the maps as it should be.

It's a map update, not a software update, and as you will see in the Garmin map update topics (Garmin CN NT 2010.20 Maps or Garmin CN NA NT 2010.30 Maps - 11/09), it's always a bit of a guessing game to figure out what's changed. Also keep in mind that Navigon have no control over the contents of the maps that they buy from Navteq so any errors in the maps should be directed to Navteq if you have any interest in seeing them fixed, see Submitting Navteq Map Errors with "Map Reporter".

Now that the map update is available it's high time to get back to the topic at hand, any comments about Navigon's policies belong in the topic I linked on the previous page.

if this is an update - just what has changed from Q2 ?
- same bugs with the 2120max - still can't save canadian routes

Now if Navigon wanted to step up to the plate and save some face with U.S. customers they would extend our Fresh Maps subscription since they've only released two map updates in almost 1 1/2 years. Nothing close to the "up to 12 maps over 3 years" they advertised.

That is if they ever come through with the map updates.

It's a shame. I worked with the customer relations manager and one of the lead programmers to resolve an issue with the phonebook transfer and LG phones. We had good communications back and forth and they were supposed to get me into the beta program. That was maybe 1 month before Navigon laid off the U.S. staff in Chicago.

Mr. Swimm,

Since you offered to hear other

No doubt by now you, and others at Navigon,
have received numerous inquiries from owners
of your equipment here in the U.S.

Included among this group, as you must be
aware, are a number of individuals who are
not only owners of Navigon GPS equipment,
but attorneys.

It is my own view, as a journalist here in
the U.S. and a later adopter of Navigon GPS
equipment, nearer to the time when your company
decided to drop out of the North American GPS market
that Navigon did its former customer base a grave disservice.

My own records are thick with appeals to Navigon's
North American headquarters, and notes of conversations
in which I was told essentially that Navigon could do
nothing about such issues as serious hardware and software
issues (in my case with the 7200T) that afflicted Navigon

Here are some examples:

-- Navigon has failed to issue firmware upgrades
that would deal with freezeups in 7200T units requiring
cold restarts.

-- Navigon has failed to issue firmware upgrades
that would correct the problem of DAY/NIGHT AUTO screen
function not working properly (in some cases, owners have
been forced to perform software code modifications themselves
to approach anything near what Navigon promised as part of
this base software feature in its GPS units).

Where NAVTEQ updates are concerned, Navigon has been
consistently behind the curve. EXAMPLE: It is now
nearly December 2009, and most Navigon owners have not
yet seen any Q3 2009 update under existing FreshMaps

In the area of communication with your (former) U.S.
customer base, I believe it is completely accurate
to describe Navigon has having been woefully deficient.
Your company essentially shut down communications on
such issues as map updates, unless prompted by emails
or letters from angry and frustrated customers, with
your web sites becoming basically non-responsive to
anyone's needs.

All of these issues are more than adequately documented
in the various GPS discussion groups. And all of this
comes at a time when Navigon moved into a highly publicized
relationship with Apple for GPS services.

So, it should come as little suprise to you, and other
Navigon officials, that individuals who placed their
confidence in your company's product(s), only to have
the rug pulled out from under them, are upset.

I hope Navigon will go some considerable further
distance toward addressing these issues.

For example, one obvious step would be to address a communication
to existing account holders on Navigon Fresh and Fresh
Maps stating clearly:

-- The status of web site access, and clarifying Navigon's
commitment to continuation of map updates for the duration of
existing contracts.

-- Whether owners of existing Navigon GPS units,
like their counterparts in other world regions, can
expect ANY future support in the area of firmware upgrades
to correct known issues.

-- Whether owners of Navigon GPS can expect any future
support in the area of battery replacement, or unit replacement
or compensation in the event of confirmable defect.

I sincerely hope Navigon will choose to address these
issues clearly and honestly, as one would expect that you
and other company managers value the support of any
customer base you have built, regardless of how long
Navigon has operated in any specific geographic region.
