Posted - 25 oct. 2010 : 18:43:10 Has anyone tried to replace the battery in an Sanyo NVM4370? On Ebay it looks like the battery for the TOMTOM might work - similar but with different wire color codes |

I have a nvm-4070 which is similar to the nvm-4370 and I am running MioPocket R56 plus a number of navigating software, such as IGO8, Navigon, Garmin, Tom Tom, etc. I have a 4GB SD card that all of this is installed on and haven't made any changes to my original device, so from MioPocket I can access all native software that is installed.
Hope this helps! |

Posted - 24 févr. 2010 : 10:12:31 For anyone who cares. I was pushing the SD card in and out and if I held it at a certain spot it would work. I tried a new card and voila it works....bad SD card, I guess. Funny thing is, it used to work and it works on all my other electronics.

Posted - 23 févr. 2010 : 22:40:22 Total newb, but I have some questions. Just picked up the Sanyo NVM-4370 and after playing with it for a while I loaded some mp3, mp4 and jpegs on a 2g SD card plugged it in and tried playing with the features. It seemed to be working well, but when I tried to run mp3s while using the navigation software I accidentally turned it off instead. When I turn it on I can go to all of the features, but the SD card won't show up. If I remove the card and reinstall it I get the ding and the card icon comes on for a split second but then goes out.
Also, is there supposed to be storage in the unit? I can't seem to find a file or folder or am I supposed to just add my own folders and then search the unit to play media?

Posted - 23 oct. 2009 : 04:43:11 For anybody interested here is MP3.0 ver53 for Sanyo units like mine that have corrupted internal flash drives and can only use the SD card to host MP or any working GUI by that matter. FM transmitter is working now and has it's own icon in the Settings page or on the side bar. No luck with bluetooth and ActiveSync yet :(

Posted - 12 oct. 2009 : 20:43:21 Ok, so here's another question. I've loaded Igo8 into the MyFlashDisk. I've been able to switch back and forth between the Sanyo and the Igo nav by just renaming the directories via USB. I do this because I don't want to unlock this device. But I want to try another nav program, and don't have the room so I just wanted to remove the Igo8. But when I loaded it into MyFlashDisk, it became a read only folder. I've tried to set the properties to undo readonly. It looks like it's doing it, but then it still retains the read only attribute. Does anyone know how to remove the read only on this folder? |

Posted - 01 oct. 2009 : 07:06:38 e-Bay has the chargers and go for with at least 1500mA and better still 2000mA charger.
I can't help with the 2nd question as I do not use the bluetooth on the 4370. |

Posted - 01 oct. 2009 : 03:08:56 So, I was able to rename the MobileNavigator folder to something else and then load the IGO8 into MyFlashDisk as MobileNavigator. Everything works ok, for the exception of the BlueTooth. If I have my phone connected via BlueTooth, and I get an incoming call, the gps rings, but the display does not show up on the gps. So I can't answer it unless I have it set to auto answer. Does anyone know what needs to be tweaked to get this to work like it does with the Sanyo nav software? Thanks. |

Posted - 30 sept. 2009 : 22:33:30 So I just received my 4370 (got it on ebay). I have a question. I tried to charge this thing from my computers USB, I also have a wall charger for my cell phone that is USB. But neither of those appeared to work. It only worked when I connected it via the Car charger. I saw in the manual that it states it requires a usb with a 500ma charging current capability. How would I find that out for my PC? I though all USB were standard. |
