Posted - 10 janv. 2009 : 11:57:08 Dear all,
I'm looking for a GPS software for my Tytn II, able to map the position of the sailing boat on a marine chart, as well as to print its speed, heading and drift. Depth or drift alarms would be nice.
I found Memory Map, but it's quite expensive and I am not sure that it can do what I am looking for. Any idea or feedback or thread ?
Cheers,
Aurélien.

Google on that phrase.
You need a GPS that can be used with gpsd. Any NMEA-capable GPS will work.

Yes Memory Map comes to mind, excellent software and you can get marine maps that work out of the box. Other options would include OziExplorer CE or NoniGPSPlot, but you'll have to sweat it out to source the maps (probably paper maps you'll need to scan).
