Posted - 22 mai 2006 : 16:25:25 This section can be used if you want to find out if there is help and interest available out there in a particular collection of POIs you are interested in launching. This is not to be used to ask others to do it for you.
Starting a POI collection is not a difficult process using the detailed instructions available here and the GpsPasSion Team is on hand to help with the technical details. The rule of thumb is that you'll need about 20 POIs in the collection to get it off to a good start and once it's started there's a good chance that people will download it and contribute additional data or corrections.
The best way to learn how to use PoiEdit is to open a file with this tool.
Here is a file with 3 Points of Interest in Los-Angeles: LA_POI.ov2

I would be willing to make one if I could figure out how to use POIedit... if anyone knows of a link to instructions for it, I'd really appreciate it if you could pass that on.
Their FAQ reads like this; "just enter your new POI info into the list" - ok, how? yeesh.
