Original post by Moonbear - Am I the only one that noticed Mio USA has a new C310 - namely C310x. From the feature page (http://www.miogps.com/US/products_c310xfeatures.htm), it looks that C310x has iGo as the new built in Mio Map instead of Destinator. Way to go, Mio!
Now, can someone just tell me, what's the CPU, clock rate, size of Flash ROM and RAM on that C310x? It's odd, they leave them out of the spec. |

Posted - 21 avr. 2011 : 04:19:42 No map updates available as Mio no longer works with iGo/NNG who provided the original software. Mio had offered to transition some GPS systems (the C520 if memory serves) to the software they bought from Navman, but users were unimpressed as it was quite inferior to the iGo software. If you need new maps you'll have to get a Garmin or TomTom GPS, the good news is that they sometimes show up on Amazon for less than $100. You get one free map update and then you can buy yearly or lifetime map updates (published on a quarterly basis). |

Posted - 21 avr. 2011 : 04:03:06 Hi everyone. I am looking for some updated maps for my Mio C310x. Does anyone know where I can find them, or if they are even available? The maps are so old on it, most of the streets in my area don't even show up, including my street I live on.....Kinda sucks. Any help would be greatly appreciated.........Thankx |

Posted - 19 avr. 2011 : 23:26:07 There is no difference, the only difference is in software and the user manual doesn't address that. |

Posted - 19 avr. 2011 : 21:47:41 You know, there's probably not a lot of difference in the two manuals. I'd look at the one you can find and see if there really is any difference.
[added] I just looked in my archives, the manual that came on my C310x DVD says the manual is for the C310. |

Posted - 19 avr. 2011 : 04:43:38 I just bought a used Mio 310x, and it did not come with a manual, or CD ROM. I have only been able to find downloadable manuals for the Mio 310, and not the 'x' version. I know this has probably been asked many times, but, does anyone know where I can find a free downloadable manual for it (the 310x model), in pdf format? Any help would greatly be appreciated. |

Posted - 08 mai 2009 : 12:03:20 Hi All I'm a Newbie to Sat Nav and have just acquired a Mio 269 with 3.2 Maps. Can anyone tell me if these maps, which are on an SD card, should be loaded onto the HDD or are they intended to be used from the SD slot?. If they have to be loaded onto the HDD I would appreciate advice on how to do this. |

I'm a newby here so please bear with me ok. I've read through the forum and cannot find a definative answer on why the 90 mg Canada map works on some Mio 310x's and not on others. I have a 310x with the updated maps (as bad as they are). I tried repeatedly to get the Canada maps to run on it and would get "the maps are locked" response. I have 4 sons that were using mine alot so I bought each one of them their own 310x. Theirs have not been updated and the Canada map works fine on each one using the same SD card and map that I tried to use on mine. So, the only conclusion I can come up with is that an updated 310x will not run the Canada map. If I'm wrong somebody please tell me how to get it to work.

Posted - 21 avr. 2008 : 00:36:31 Can't help you there. This site only deals with the legal stuff, as per the rules, and the moderators here do a good job of making sure it stays that way. |
