Posted - 27 févr. 2006 : 00:12:56 that would be nice... I have a data connect via my Nextel BT phone. I got the unlimited data package for $10 a month ! That would be better than having to buy and lug around even more attachments. Thanks ! Is there anyway to be a beta tester for software like MN|6 ? I live in the D/FW area and drive all day long for work... :)

Posted - 27 févr. 2006 : 00:05:16 No such option so far, but MN|6 is supposed to have traffic over the internet too so with a data connection to your 2495 that might work.

Posted - 26 févr. 2006 : 23:51:12 I am currently using MN5 on my hx2495 with the iTrek M3 BT receiver. Is there any way to add just a TMC receiver to my mix w/o having to purchase the TriCeiver w/TMC & the BT to attach all that to my PDA ? Maybe some sort of XM attachment for the PDA ? Thanks !

Posted - 25 févr. 2006 : 20:22:31 Yes the TriCeiver would work in the US too, it's just a matter for Navigon to get a licence to access the ClearChannel (or Navteq in Q2) data feed.

Posted - 25 févr. 2006 : 14:45:13 In preparation for the new navigon/oncourse navigator 6, is there a bluetooth gps reciever that has TMC for the US yet? or a GPS reciever that would work with the Seidio G2500S pda mount (I have a iPAQ hx4700)? |

Posted - 22 févr. 2006 : 03:00:42 It is nice to see lane information integrated in version 6! Hopefully other product developers will follow soon with their offerings.
Less then a year ago, on May 18, 2005, NavTeq anounced it has integrated extended lane information into its maps of six European countries and the plans to continue launching the extended lane attributes on its maps of additional European countries and select North American cities. Posted - 21 févr. 2006 : 13:29:41 Yes, saw the same "secret" screenshots at a closed door presentation last week at 3GSM, I guess they weren't after all ;-) 1. Nice graphics, apparently the UI was redesigned based on Fraunhofer Institute recommendations (yes the MP3 guys!). 2. I'm not fan of the "flatter" 3D view as seen on the Sony AIO's previously. 3. Lane information is interesting although I wonder if it really available everywhere
