- Please limit large pic to 640x480 per picture (if you don't have an app to resize, you can use the Lunapic online too. - If you have screenshot in .bmp format, convert it to .png or .gif to reduce its weight - Can be used to share a file too, .zip for instance - Remove spaces for the code to work! - put your UserID in the filename to prevent the file from being erased by another user using the same filename, e.g. : gpspassion_gps_1.jpg
Picture only or File 1. Send your picture here: http://www.gpspassion.com/_safileup1e.asp 2. Picture will be in http://www.gpspassion.com/upload2/xyz.jpg 3. You can link it with this code (remove the blanks) [ img ]http://www.gpspassion.com/upload2/xyz.jpg[ /img ]
Clickable Picture You can make a small picture clickable with this code in 3. [ url="http://www.gpspassion.com/upload2/LARGE.jpg" ][ img ]http://www.gpspassion.com/upload2/small.jpg[ /img ][ /url]
That's it! |

Posted - 15 juin 2008 : 23:14:23 Moderators, It would no doubt be useful to people if you would include this information into your FAQ. Whenever I've wanted to attach a file (or do anything similar), I've gone to the FAQ, only to read "For security reasons, you may not attach files to any posts. However, you may cut and paste text into your post," and, until only recently, would give up. Now that I know better, it takes me quite a bit of digging around to find posts like this that have the upload URL in them. It would really make sense and be helpful to a lot of people, if it and some simple instructions were in the FAQ. Thanks.
EDIT: Also, a suggestion: edit the .asp upload page to return the actual link, rather than the local filename (which is useless to the user). Even better would be to make it a clickable link so that one need only right-click on it and choose "Copy Shortcut." |

Posted - 09 avr. 2008 : 10:53:57 "Picture will be in http://www.gpspassion.com/upload/xyz.jpg"
So your is here : http://www.gpspassion.com/upload/jonasolof_spotbottom.jpg ;-) |

Posted - 09 avr. 2008 : 08:04:57 OK this is a file name provided after upload:
D:\Data IIs\Gpspassion\upload\C:\Documents and Settings\Jonas\My Documents\My Pictures\Spotfoton och bilder\jonasolof_spotbottom.jpg
So in order to link to it I put
[ img ]www.gpspassion.com/upload/D:\Data IIs\Gpspassion\upload\C:\Documents and Settings\Jonas\My Documents\My Pictures\Spotfoton och bilder\jonasolof_spotbottom.jpg [ img ]
(no spaces before and after img)
Or the img file name without the path:
[ img ]www.gpspassion.com/upload/jonasolof_spotbottom.jpg [ img ]
Neither works. Sorry for not seeing what's wrong.
Edit: I had included the path in my second example by mistake.
Thanks for fixing the links. |

Posted - 19 oct. 2007 : 09:22:05 Thank all those who participate in this forum. Starting from current indications in order to avoid incompatibility problems, I found a way to change the skin without using any external program on the Internal Flash or External SDCard:
This is the final result "GHoST SKiN 1.0" (from a low resolution thumbnail ... a bit dark ...) where the selected/unselected icons are all transparent:
Mainshell:

Settings:

Tools:

Poweroff:

Startup image after Software Reset / Desktop wallpaper:

The way is simply correct the system files, we need only make changes and replacements carefully.
To launch other programs I use the freeware application PADD (True Dimension) on SDCard. PADD is a PPC external shell that allow direct access up to 18 applications, essential and "on fly" editable for other applications.
Best regards to all!

Posted - 22 avr. 2006 : 01:38:03 Worked for me. RTFM. OH, sorry, there isn't any!!!
You do need to change the example filename shown (xyz.jpg) to the file name you uploaded along with its file extension. If you uploaded a .gif, add that, or a .bmp, add that extension to the filename. And DO take out the leading space and trailing space when creating the working link.
