I've been searching for the codes to unlock wince on a LG nav system that i have in my Hyundai I40. i've allready managed to get in the dealer test screen. the old codes don't seem to work (only 123456 and 253216). Any idea how i can get into winCe screen ?
system version : 6.1.6 firmware version 5.1.4_VF18

Posted - 11 juin 2012 : 17:00:04 Did a short Google search: 6.1.6 isn't a WinCE/WinMo version, but a LG internal version number. People reported unlock code 111484 only worked with versions up to 5.3. At least since version 6.x there should no longer be the chance to get into WinCE part with any code, at least such a code wasn't found out by someone. Happy googleing ...
HINT: Change your thread's (absolute misleading) title into "LG code 111484 doesn't work" or something similar, this because LG units not only are inbuilt to Hyandai cars.

Posted - 11 juin 2012 : 15:35:01 Ok, I found that the same codes that work for the LG_LAN8900EKSL work on my system except the windows CE keys. when i ask the system settings i get system version 6.1.6 ... and firmware version 5.1.4 ... that's what it says ... don't ask me what these mean... When looking at the LG_LAN8900 system youtube movies, it seems to be winCE that they get into with the 111484 code.
I have to get it out of the dashboard to get to the correct serial numbers.

1. A Windows (Embedded) CE versioned 6.1.6 doesn't exist. The OS version you reported relates to Windows Mobile, which totally is different to Windows (Embedded) CE 2. You are speaking of a so-called NavCeiver, LG branded. This unit isn't a simple SatNav running Windows (Embedded) CE 3. Be aware there doesn't exist an 'unlocker' that runs under Windows Mobile; all 'unlockers' are designed to be run under Windows (Embedded) CE
BTW: As long as you can't tell here the model/techn. specs of this LG NavCeiver you probably can't get helped
