Posted - 26 avr. 2012 : 23:41:47 I have an odd problem. The touch screen on my 3790T is inop on the qwerty keyboard on the b h y & 6,and in the map position it relates to the same positions is also inop. I have reloaded 4.8 but no help. It appears I may have to return it for repairs. I hope someone has a better answer. Thanks Bobaber

Posted - 12 mai 2012 : 18:04:07 Garmin wants $150.00 to repair the 3790T, By the time I pay shipping to garmin It will cost about 160.00. I bought a Garmin white box refurbished 3790LMT for 178.00 free shipping. So for an additional 18 bucks over the repair bill I got a LMT model with Garmin warranty and still have the original which everything works but one section of the touch screen. Using voice command I can work around the dead touch screen area. Looks like a better deal.

Posted - 28 avr. 2012 : 22:53:28 I went to Sharcnet web site and they don't list anything for the 3700 series touch screen. I ordered a 3490LMT today, I had a 3490LMT when they first came out but returned it to Garmin. I think they have improved it some since then, at least I hope so.

Posted - 28 avr. 2012 : 04:01:30 You might want to get a repair quote from Sharcnet. They typically do repairs cheaper than Garmin's replacement cost.

Posted - 27 avr. 2012 : 22:22:13 I received an answer from Garmin, they said to return the unit at a cost of $150.00. The voice command works great and I am able to load most anything with it so I'll just plug along as is. bobaber
