That is what happens when users supply the content without any quality control. If I am driving down the street and see a cop alongside the road, is that a "speed trap?" Or is it just a cop sitting alongside the road one day?

When you have nothing but constant alerts it kind of defeats the purpose. At some point, the alert will be so common that I'd bet you want even hear it.

I wish my Garmin would easily let me edit and/or delete them... but no, can't do any of that.

One option you have is to edit the source file and remove the locations that you don't want.

That is not 'easy'. U want to be able to see it on the map than I know where it is and remove it when I'm sure it's wrong. And than load it to Nuvi. Once it's in Nuvi, I don't see a way to delete it like other POI that I input in Nuvi.

That is indeed the way to do it, of course the best option is to follow the rules and you'll be fine, this topic having run its course it will now be locked, as a reminder we have a reference topic on how to add custom POIs to all the Garmin systems, it's here : http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=34316
