Hi Noni,
I've been using v2.80r on a PNA (Navman S30) happily. Great software.

Updating it to v3.0.1 I face a problem: when turning off the screen in order to save power, there is no way to power up the screen again other than rebooting the device.
The PNA doesn't have 'keys' or 'buttons', the only interaction is the touch screen. v2.80r wakes up the screen correctly touching it.

Looking at preferences (adv.setup/general), settings are the same on both versions, but in v3.0.1 I can't see the section "Turn screen on: action on a key / Action on screen" which in v2.80 are both set in my PNA.

Am I doing something wrong, or is there a change in program behaviour?

Hi Noni

Been a donor user of NoniGPSPlot V2.x.x for a while now and have had no issues with it but I have just tried V3.0.2. I find it does not expand to fill the entire screen. The "Full Screen" check box in the 'Display' menu is not selected by default but even when I select this option NoniGPSPlot will not expand to full screen.

Is there a way of fixing this?

Ok, I understand a bit more about this problem now. It is not a problem with NoniGPSPlot failing to fill the entire screen rather I think there is a blank menu bar at the bottom of the screen which always remain 'on top' covering the bottom part of the screen.

When the window 'GPS Point' is displayed the menu item 'Recorder' and 'Voice Memo' appear in this menu bar. When the 'GPS Point' window is closed, the menu items 'Recorder' and 'Voice Memo' disappear but the menu bar itself always remains covering the bottom portion of the screen.

Hope you can fix in the next release.

The list of updates in post #1 is incomplete. Currently newest version of NoniGPSPlot is 3.1.0 that dates from 2011-11-11.

http://aeguerre.free.fr/Public/PocketPC/NoniGPSPlot/

I can confirm 3.1.0 works flawlessly even on a 800x480 WinCE 6.0 unit.

I installed the latest version 3.1.0 of NoniGPSPlot on my Windows CE Core 5 device and find that none of the Dashboard displays will load to completion and hang the device.
When the program is Quit the following .DeleteObject Errors occur: #9911#, #9901# and #9921# before the program is terminated.
On quitting I also receive the Fatal Application Error-Illegal Operation Exception 0xC0000005 Address:0005F970.
I will be going back to an earlier version!
(Even with version 3.0.2 a Fatal Application Error: Exception 0xC0000005 Address 0005E1E0 occurs on Quitting.)

hi noni and all!
i had been using noniGPSplot for those 3years to explore with motorcycle
in Vietnam Country Side.
Without this, my trip can not do at all! thanks

But now i got problem on my device.
I got Becky Crocodile Z100 GPS Traffic assist Z100
Windows CE 5 Core (Built1400)with Samsung Prosessor.
I expected this splash proof device can be more easy trip with motorcycle!

I could unlock interface & enable to run noniGPSPlot with DLLs now.
(before i used Holux GPSmile55,Chinese GPS 5inch came with Windows CE Core also).

But only on this device, all maps from Google,Yahoo and OSM
were shown strange color!
The water(river or lakes) are orange.
The Load and street post be yellow are light blue.
This issue was never happened on another device of Win CE core.
all colors of maps was strange and my eyes are very tired with it.

I tried change map format from JPS to BMP.
also tried replace DLLs with another versions. but still not
solved this.

anybody has same issue or any advice of solution?

thanks

I have just started using NoniGPSPLOT on a Trimble GeoXT and it works great! I am using it to navigate to research plots in forests.

I have noticed that it stops providing distance and bearing navigation updates when you are closer than 50m from the navigation target point and outputs the message "End of Navigation".

Does anyone know how to reduce this End of Navigation distance? We generally have sufficient sats to navigate to within at least 30m and often better.
