Hello, I am new to GPS and I have a KML (Google Earth) POI file that I am really keen in converting to a GPX file for import in my Nuvi 660. Only thing is I own a Mac Book (Intel), no PC. Advice, anyone?
Thanks. |

Yup. It worked. Had trouble finding the POIs, though, until I found out they were stored in the "Custom POI" menu, under "Extras", in my 660. Had to rename them all with a TLA (three letter acronym) addition 'cos they were part of a free wifi network in my city (Montreal) that I wanna have access to quickly. Question: If I upload more POIs, are they gonna be stored at the same location in my nuvi, i.e. "Custom POI"? How can I sort apart the new ones I upload, for examples, a file containing all wifi access in another city?
Thank you very much for your help. It is a steep learning curve indeed ;-) |

| Sure, you'll probably want to take a look at the Garmin gpx/gpi threads because I'm only familiar with POI Loader method to add POIs on the Garmins. Maybe someone else can helo too ;-) |
