Chemonq,
Yes simple to generate but very heavy in volume, that was the main reason why I chose .plt or GPX ... I'll do it just be patient ;-) |

Chemonq,
Try the new v1007 and tell me if NMEA output works fine ! I've not computed the cjecksum at the end of the lines. it seems it is not mandatory ... http://aeropic.free.fr/RBT_2300/

Hi All,
I've worked out a more performant release. I've won a factor 2x to 4x on file generation, especially .GPX which is now really faster ! You can also find online a windows PC version.
the last release V1100 also fixes : - minor bug (at the end of some dumps a NOTHING LOG102 message occured : fixed ! - altitude in GPX were compuded in feet (awfull ;-) ==> fixed
http://aeropic.free.fr/RBT_2300/
any feedback welcomed !

The NMEA file was created OK, but the location was wrong. The location should have been: Long: -78.392670 but the new ver1100 NMEA ouput put me: at Long: 78.392670. Instead of Canada it looks like it put me somewhere in a field in Afghanistan or somewhere like that!
The GPX dump option works fine.

Chemonq,
For sure I've a bug here in NMEA. In fact I didn't know what to put for south and west and I've chose absolute value (which is wrong)!
Could you please post here few lines of what royaltek soft generates in Canada ? Any dump from south hemisphere would be appreciated too ...
thanks in advance, this will be easy to fix ;-)

Yes the nmea dump in 1101 version seems to work very well so far. You're amazing.

Thanks for the validation process, and the congratulations !
Next step in this development will be the user's preferences (selection of a PATH, COM port and default settings for output format ...). As it is fully functionnal without this, I'll probably make a pause of one week or two, so rendez-vous mid March ! In case of a bug, please contact me directly by mail on http://aeropic.free.fr/RBT_2300/
bye Alain

Thanks again for the work. Have a well deserved break from this, but don't harm too many brain cells.

Hi All,
A new version V1200 of PPC RBT2300 datadownloader is available on http://aeropic.free.fr/RBT_2300/
It now includes the capability to store the user's preference : the directory where the dumps will be stored. It is not as easy in the PPC version to select a directory as in the PC version but it works ... (Microsoft has not developped a directory searcher control on PPC ...)
enjoy (and tell me if it's OK)

Sorry to take so long getting back to you, but I had a problem accessing the version 1200 cab file. It seems the links are a little crossed on your website and it kept giving me the 1101 version until I cliucked on the exe version link.
I've installed and it ran great. No problems so far that I can see.
Thanks,

Hi Chemonq,
You're right the link was not correct. Now it points toward the right file. Thanks for having reported this error. http://aeropic.free.fr/RBT_2300/ Alain |

Hi All,
A new version of the PPC RBT2300 datadownloader is available on aeropic : v1201. It fixes a minot bug : after a dump request, if the file already exists, the new version superseeds the old one. http://aeropic.free.fr/RBT_2300/ Bye Alain |

Works for me so far. Only glitch I see is if the pref points to a memory card that isn't in the PPC, the software crashes rather than reminding user to insert card. Only a problem for me when I forget to put the SD back in after I swap cards.
