I'll try to get another software to work with this receiver and I might come back to update.
I run max ram available on Lenovo 3000N200 with XPp sp3.. If I have too many applications open,. it will temporary freeze .. I close what I don't need to keep from rebooting. Marvin mentioned the "mouse trail" can cause freezing if zoomed in too much.
I even have good luck running it on Acer aspire Netbook 8.9, 1gb ram, 160gb hdd.. only now MS gps no work on less than v10! Pits!
Try S&T v10 .. nice .. searching for needs like campgrounds in specific area works great!
v7/v9 now have a big problem running its gps, I have a conflict because MS switched fingers to operate it, I have bad tremor with all fingers but index on right works best but now right click is very difficult for me.
I use it in motorhome for cross-country travels .. no lockups .. try v10 .. Sams Club has best prices, not online, only in store! |
