I'm going to the southwest of US to drive around for 11 days, and I'm quite confused about how to get a US map for my Medion (Navigon) version 5.1 navigational system.
I'm renting a car from AVIS, and they hire out navigational systems for $9.95/day, but since I already have my Medion, I would of course prefer to use that, but the problem is, that I only have maps of European countries.
Does anybody know how to get free maps of the southwestern US that will fit on to my Medion?
I have downloaded a few maps found via the maps database mentioned in the first post of this forum, but I can't make it work, since Medion requires the file extension of the mapfile to be ".map".
Can I use map data with other fileextensions, and then transform it into *.map format? |

The database has been updated. New maps are Belize, Guatemala, India and some commercial software for Europe. |
