Nice new offering, is that the original nView or is it a reworked version ?
Have you been able to compare readibility in direct sunlight with other PDAs ?

WBT-100/200 reviewed here http://www.gpspassion.com/forumsen/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=57588 ;-)

Great!!! Thanks. I hope to get an RMA for return of the New SirfIII unit I just purchased.

I am looking forward to comparing accuracy of this new unit with my other receivers.

We believe this is the original version. We have not had chance to test the screen yet. Will do so later this week.

Thanks for the review. The shipping version seems to be a bit more accurate than the test unit. Unlike GlobalSat or Holux, Wintec has firmware on their website and can be installed by end-user directly.

No, Bluetooth GPS only, if you need a data logger look at the Wintec above.

can the M5 charge off either the arkon cm799 BT charging port or the 5v accessory port? or is it like the Iblue, must charge off a 5.4v car charger?

I'm looking at the iguidance v3 + m5 + arkon CM799 package and hoping I can run everything through 1 Cig lighter socket.

Yes, Arkon CM700 will provide enough power to charge either i.Trek M5 or iBlue. The GPS receiver package includes USB to mini-USB cable and you can use this cable to charge either GPS receiver from CM700's USB port.

The difference between iBlue and M5 are

1. iBlue does not support WAAS, M5 does.
2. M5 includes GpsGate utility and iBlue does not.
3. The firmware version is V3.7 for both.
4. iBlue has two color choices and M5 has only one.

Ummmm, the M5 is very tempting, but do you have any idea when the NemeriX v4 will be available?

The current shipment of i-Blue has V4 firmware. For i.Trek M5, V4 will not be implemented until V4 adds WAAS/EGNOS support.

Thanks for the info. When you say "the current shipment" do you mean the iblues that are currently on a ship somewhere in the Atlantic/Pacific or the ones that you are actually selling now? (The reason I ask is that I haven't been able to find any mention of v4 on your website).
