Hi all,
I just bought a GPSmap478 and want to use its weather capability for motorcycle riding/rally's.

I have heard horror stories regarding Sirius and everything about their customer service, billing, etc. I sent 5 emails asking for an explanation of the weather subscriptions and got no where, terrible experience just trying to get information to purchase a subscription!

Any advice or suggestion in getting weather on my 478?

You're welcome. I know people have the weather service turned on and off as they need it for trips because it isn't real cheap.

I've got a 478 also for use on my little scooter, but don't use the weather or XM at all. It is very popular among the LD crowd.
