Hi,
I have Xexun TK 103. When I configure it to sent coordinates to my IP/Port I got something like this. 120120211427,093192880,GPRMC,161427.000,A,4011.4404,N,04432.0003,E,0.00,0.00,200112,,,A*6B,F,, imei:012207007054510,08,1095.9,F:4.32V,1,136,63228,283,05,0835,2759 Can anybody help me to get Latitude and Longitude from here? I guess that they must be 40.114404 and 44.320003, but when I put them on map I got about 20km wrong position(when tracker works on SMS mode, then I got right latitude and longitude).
Sorry for my poor english! |

Hi'ya hayk,
It looks to me like the TK103 has a DDDMM.mmmm / DDMM.mmmm output format. Nothing unusual there...
So, your Lat (using the DD MM.mmmm format) is 40degrees, 11.4404minutes (North) and your Lon (using the DDD MM.mmmm format) is 044degrees, 32.0003minutes (East). Suppressing the leading zero in the Lat is normal because 90' would be the max Lat whilst 180' would be the max Lon. You would need to either enter them as such (DDD MM.mmmm) or convert the MM.mmmm to degrees. Entering a Lat of 40.114404 as degrees (and decimal degrees) would be incorrect as 0.114404 degrees equates to 6.86424 minutes NOT the intended 11.4404. Same for the Lon - 044.320003 as degrees (and decimal degrees) would be incorrect as 0.320003 degrees equates to 19.20018 minutes NOT the intended 32.0003.
Hope that helps. |
