Gentlemen! Today is your lucky day if you have a 3750 or a 3760. I found a way to enable the Contacts, Calendar, 3D Terrain and Building like on the nuvi 3790. ASR appears and is functional on the 3760, but it does not work on the 3750 as there is no microphone installed. See the table below for the list of features that can be enabled for each GPS model per firmware region.
Use RGN_Tool v0.84 to enable those features. Load your firmware in RGN_Tool, patch it using the Tools->Nuvi 3790 Patch. Save the modified firmware and flash. Make sure to use the right boot.bin with the correct HWID. All previous rules apply before flashing firmware.

I am surprised nobody had any comment on my finding... On the 3760 with US firmware, the patch enables working ASR. You now have voice command... 
@John_foo: You are a very clever guy... :) The scooter is a hidden transportation mode on the 37xx TWN v2.50 firmware. You can enable it by creating an empty file "Scooter" in the following folder: /.System/Debug

I have one question: If I use your RGN tool with the patch enable, using my 3790T US and 4.50 firmware I will have all the things that appeared on the pictures on the post above?
Like video player, mp3 players....

LOL! No. The video player and the mp3 player appear only on the Asian firmwares. Sorry for the confusion. Also, it is not possible to convert 3790 or 3760 US to Asian firmwares. Only 3750.¸
Update:
I found a way to enable Bluetooth. It is not working on my 3750, but it may work on the 3760 as the ASR is... Now, I need to make a new patcher... |

I don't know how to use your patch, After I Opened the Gupdate.gcd (SgMy version3.00), when I Click Tools>Nuvi 3790 patch, Pop up message "US 3790 patch already installed ! Why doing it twice ?", anyway, I just save it as RGN file. What I doing wrong ?

I have tested with SGMY v270 and no problem. I tested also with SGMY v300 for the 3790V and no problem. Can you give me a link to your SGMY v300? |

I'm officially jealous of the 3760. I just ordered a replacement microphone for my 3750 (3.71$ at Digikey). I'll let you know on the results. |

Bluetooth was always available on the 3760 .. the ASR patch is fantastic .. will try to test it out this weekend! |

Hi Turboccc,
I tried patching the "nuvi37xx_GCDFile_450.gcd" but getting an Error when saving to GCD file.
Steps:
1) Open up RGN_tool
2) Click on "Open File" and selected the "nuvi37xx_GCDFile_450.gcd" file
3) Patch the file using Tool->Nuvi 3790 Patch
4) Click on the "GCD Floppy" Save button - I get the following Error: Run-time error '6': Overflow
However I can save the RGN file by clicking on the RGN Save button.
Filesize:
Original GCD File: 48.3 MB (50,749,803 bytes)
Patched RGN File : 48.3 MB (50,742,566 bytes)
I have not yet loaded the patched RGN file to my 3760T .. just wanted to confirm whether it patched okay.

Yes, it is ok when saving to .rgn. I did the same 2 days ago starting from the same .gcd. I will investigate the .gcd problem tonight and report here. In the meantime, have fun!
Fixed the issue in RGN_Tool v0.84! It was a CRC issue and you had 1 chance out of 256 to get it. Buy a lottery ticket! LOL! |

| Great job. Will the same trick on the nuvi 3490? My nuvi 3790 with software from nuvi 3490 does not show 3D terrain and 3D buildings. |

| @buress: I do not know yet for the 34xx. By doing a different patch I enabled bluetooth, but it is not working. ASR, 3D terrain and building are not showing up either. If I enabled something, I do not know what it is... |

| Your picture doesn't look like 3D terrain. In case of real 3D terrain horizon line isn't flat. |
